18/31 please shaggy
Racking them up now! I'm learning to ride out the cravings, if that's what you'd call them. I think it's more just habit than anything else.0 -
14/22 please.Live for the moment and plan for the future0

Yay!!
Happy to report family meal was cancelled so I am,,,,
5/9:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:0 -
I may even increase my target for the month,,,,,,,,,
Then again being at the early stages of cutting down I have to admit I'm looking forward to having a wine or 4 on Friday ,,,,,
Could be worse I'd be 3 bottles in by now on a 'normal' week !! And considering I've been filling in divorce papers I can't believe I've not given in !:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:0 -
Was thinking last night,,,
What ever happened to 'in search of me' ?:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:0 -

I don't know what happened to In Search of Me LoveSale. She was last seen on MSE in July 2013, but may be posting under a different name now. I hope she knows what a profound effect she's had on a lot of people's lives.
I'd definitely hide them So Worried. If I don't see chocolate I don't often think about it, but as soon as I spy the wrappers I can't get the idea of the stuff out of my head. No point in tempting fate as far as I'm concerned.I don't worry about declaring I'm not drinking if we go out. If anyone comments, I just say my drinking was getting excessive and I'm putting a stop to it. I usually find that this frank admission is enough to get people to back off with trying to encourage me to "join in".
Mostly I've found the same, but there have been one or two people who've argued the toss about whether I have/had a problem with alcohol. One told me he'd never seen me drunk, which was interesting because that means he can't actually tell if someone's drunk or not. Most poeple are fine with it; the problems only occur when they've had a few themselves.fakeplastictwee wrote: »18/31 please shaggy

Mostly it's habit, it's craving with some people in the same way that I crave chocolate and jelly babies when I'm on a sugar-free week, as now. My body rather likes being fed and watered in the way that it's used to.I may even increase my target for the month,,,,,,,,,

Mega-achievement, filling in the papers. And doing it with a clear head is quite a good idea, too!
19/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
19/31 please.
Thank you Shaggy, I love the sand dancing smilie! Made me smile this morning. Declaring early today.
Interestingly at work today someone was saying we can't do that because we can't have alcohol in front of Mum. My Mum used to have a problem too, makes you wonder how many families this issue affects - and that's only when it has become obvious. I know how clever people can be if trying to cover up drinking so it can take a long while to find out.0
