That's amazing, well done you. I don't know what I have done as haven't added up. But its great to hear the results have helped you to reset yourself!!

hi CuppaTea, aw thanks :) - the reset isn't something I expected at all, I thought I would go on liking a drink as much as I ever had and would just have to control myself to get through the whole year, but actually one of the nicest things is I just seem to have increasingly lost interest in drinking, and it has become easier. I could actually contemplate permanently giving it up now and at the start of the year I would have said that was impossible. I'm not going to do that, but it is nice to know that alcohol has lost so much of its grip on me.

Had a few drinks tonight but all controlled and stop button activated.

But im feeling very bad as i inadvertently offended someone today by a thoughtless comment. I was apologetic when i realised my mistake and hv apologised again but im being ignored. This is by someone who usually has their phone attached. If i dont get a response I'll try again verbally. Its an acquaintance rather than a friend, but i feel awful and can't stop.thinking about how I've upset them. Lesson learnt and reminded if you hv nothing nice to say.........
