Something unusual for me happened today. When passing T+sco, they had a banner outside advertising their latest wine offer. They had 2 bottles of Barefoot Pinot (lush) for £10. I commented to my boy that was a good deal and he said, "why don't you go and get some then?". I said because if I have it in the house I'll drink it, if I don't I won't. Its like chocolate and cake. All the time its not there I'm not fussed. I haven't even thought about wine oclock this week. And I like it. I know 3 weeks ago I was fixating on the alcohol and it consumed a lot of "do I don't I thoughts". At the moment I have clear head space and its good.

On Friday I have a friend coming round for dinner, who I expect will be drinking wine or cidar. I haven't decided if I am going to break my seal or not. Don't want to lose control.

As long as you're okay, Maman. I'm glad you're back to feeling well again.

I've just found out that we're going to dinner on Friday with a couple who decided to do Dry January this year, and the husband then decided to see if he could stretch the dryathalon out a bit. It'll be interesting to see where they are with alcohol nine months on.

    6/30 please, Shaggy.

Been AFD all month so far (go me :T) So up to yesterday I'm on 5/24.

I suppose it helps that Small and Tiny have had a nasty bug which I feel like I'm fighting off too :(

Thanks for good wishes. I did have a few small cravings last night but managed to ignore them. It wasn't helped that I was at home all evening as my usual Monday dance class hasn't restarted yet. That always sets the tone for the week for me.

I think you'll find that too lotstogain. Getting out and having a distraction like swimming really helps.

    Planning another today.

    2 AFDs please Shaggy.
  • 2/16 for me for last night please. Unexpected night out tonight, but I am driving, so I have to decide whether I will have one drink or not. I am going to try for not!
What goes around comes around.....I hope!
