Ooo, hello! I got to 12/30 which I was proud of and have copped out for a week now, so think I better start again! Only got myself to rely on, so I just have to push myself to get out of bed that bit earlier!
I need to get some weights too, these jars of curry sauce are rubbish!
Go to say though, even after a week off it, the size 12s are still feeling looser than they did before I started.LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩0 -
Am on day 4 level 1 (restarted as missed few days) can't believe how much easier it gets after couple days. I doubt I will ever find 3ds a breeze but your not meant to. My arms kill now I have 3kg weights and i've started to get a little bit of muscle in my arm which i've never had before. Bare in mind i've done about 8 days of level 1 but spaced out in about 2-3weeks.
After 7 days of level 1 am going to have a rest and try level 2. God help me I can't even do normal push ups. I've just ordered the Shred and Shed video from Jillian and also ripped in 30. I might start them alongside level 2.
My weight is staying the same but I defo feel more toned so not going to step out weights till after 30 days. Am not doing the shred every day but having a day off inbetween levels. My bum feels really toned though haha.0 -
I didn't know that! I took the title literally and thought it was intended to be used for 30 days straightMisty_Blue wrote: »You are supposed to take rest days.
Jillian herself has said that she never intended it to be sold as a "30 days straight" routine. It's just that there happened to be 30 days of workouts, and the marketers though that sounded better than the 38 day shred!

I took a rest day and felt much better for it. I've got one day left of level 2 and then I'm going to take another rest day before starting level 3. It can't come soon enough! I've absolutely hated level 2, the strength work is so tough I can't wait to move on to something else. As much as I hate the workout though I always feel great when I've finished them, the rush of endorphins is fantastic and although I haven't lost any inches yet I'm definitely starting to look more toned

I used tins of tomatoes for the first week, but when my sweaty hands started making the labels peel off I decided it was time to get serious and invest in some proper weights!Ooo, hello! It's worth pushing yourself, the workouts do get easier over time but for some reason getting up a bit earlier to fit them in never does! it's all worth it in the end though.0 -
Has anyone finished the full 30 days yet?
I am thinking of resting 5 days in and then after the 10 days. Should be finished at the end of feb.
Moved onto level 2 last time. Oh my god it makes level one look like a walk in the park. I had to stop so many times I was dying couldn't breath and my chest hurting. So many planks
I can see how you would lose more inches in level 2 and 3. Am terrifed for level 3 haha.
Bought a pair of size 10 jeans :S hoping I can fit into them after completing level 3.0 -
Going to start level 3 today :O
I thought level 2 looked harder than it actually was with the exception of the squats with V raise (really struggled with those)
Good luck with wearing your new jeans, think positive

Day 4, level 3, omg!! Each move in itself is ok but them do lots of them(or attempt to
) and then straight onto the next set, ouch. Had to revert to modifications on some of them-gonna take me a while to be able to do the full twenty minutes with no cheating

Well done for getting so far. Am on day 4 level 2 and am already like ah I hate wanna give up. Not going to though going to do the full 3 levels. I really give it my all but sometimes I have to do modifed versions as you say just on the planks with the ones where you have to hop forward and back they kill your stomach. I agree about the squatting v raises my arms just give up in the end and go no.
I've been doing other arm excerises as well as they so weak. Think am going to invest in some ankle/wrist weights. Been looking at victoria secret workouts and they pretty good and not long.
Was going to do ripped in 30 alongside 3ds but doing jillians yoga instead as my poor body aching enough.
Not lost any weight at all just staying the same, never overeating think my downfull is carbs like bread for breakfast or wholegrain pasta.0 -
Join a gym and lift some free weights after you've finished...much better than DVD after DVD

I've just finished day 6 of level 3 and can't believe how quickly it's gone by. Those planking raise thingys with the weights are killing me! I hated level two though, so even though level 3 is tougher in some ways I'm enjoying it a lot more.Day 4, level 3, omg!! Each move in itself is ok but them do lots of them(or attempt to

Have you started to notice results yet? My clothes feel looser and I've gone down a pound or two, but don't really look any different.0
