Level 2: done! 11/30 (not easy with 2 toddlers under my flipping feet)
It is pretty tough, but was quite nice having all different things to do. Will do measurements tonight.

Feeling quite incentivised to start this again after reading these posts - only managed 5/30 last time - what a lightweight !!
One question tho - at what point do you switch from level 1 to level 2? Is it up to you or after 10/30?

You do Level 1 ten times, then level 2 ten times, then level 3 ten times.

It's recommended that you measure every 2 to 4 weeks so you're maybe a bit soon. Also, your muscles could still be holding onto water, so drink plenty of water and don't be discouraged! :)

I finished level 1 yesterday and will have my first bash at the level 2 workout this evening. I haven't lost any inches yet, but my jeans do seem to be fitting a bit better, I'm not getting the dreaded muffin top I usually have!
I weighed myself this morning though and while I wasn't expecting miracles I thought that maybe I would have lost a pound or two. But to my horror I have gained almost HALF A STONE!! My diet has stayed pretty much the same as normal so I don't know how this has happened. Granted I was fully dressed when I weighed myself but I don't think my clothes can account for all the extra weight. Is this normal? :o
  • Muscle, fairy lights, muscle. It's why clothes are better than scales as a measure of fitness :)

  • A little of the weight gain will be due to muscle development, but no-one can gain 7lbs of muscle in 10 days. :)

As above, more likely to be water. As you use muscles that aren't used to it, you create micro-tears in the muscle fibres. The muscles then become a little inflamed and retain fluid as part of the repairing process. It's normal and will pass. :)

That's reassuring to know! I'm certainly using muscles I haven't used before so that does make sense. And when the micro-tears heal I will be left with rock hard abs, right? :D

I did my first level 2 workout yesterday and it was certainly a step up in terms of co-ordination, I think it's going to take a few days before I get the hang of all the new moves.
