30 day shred

Day three of level one. Everything hurts. I mean EVERYTHING. The back of my legs are so sore it makes sitting on the toilet quite an ordeal. It will get easier...won't it?
Maybe I'm a bit of a masochist but I am actually quite enjoying it, despite the pain! The workout is short enough that I'm sure I will stick to it but effective enough that I know it's going to make a difference to my body. Plus my OH has promised to treat me to a set of weights so the tins of tomatoes can go back in the cupboard :rotfl:
I still can't get the hang of press-ups though, even when I do the easy version I end up with my bum sticking up in the air and just sort of rock up and down. it's not very elegant!0 -
It does get easier, personally I like to feel a bit of an ache then I know that I have actually done something;) I too like the length of it, not too much and not too little. LOL to your press ups, I do the easy version too (you should take a look and see how you have to do them in level 2!)0
-
It does get easier! The transition from level one to level two is a killer, so be prepared. The results are really quite impressive though, especially as it's only half an hour a day

I've continued to use the 30 Day Shred for more than a month!
It really depends on how much effort you're putting in, your diet and your genetics.
If the 30 Day Shred doesn't work for you in 30 days, try a different workout.0 -
I thought I would have a weigh/measure in yesterday after completing day 7. No change in weight or any measurements except from waist (belly button as opposed to 'natural') 1 1/2 " down.0

I've done three days of this workout but starting next week I'm going to up the frequency and try for everyday. I just find it so hard to get motivated when I've been at work all day.The 365 day penny challenge #24: £21.52/£667.95
Make £2019 in 2019: £29.99/£2019
2019 1% Challenge #9: 1% - Pay all your debt off by Xmas 2019 # 60: £500 -
Done 2 days already can feel myself getting more toned.
I had to miss a day out (yesterday) as I went out on Thursday night and didnt get home till 9am in the morning
didn't know if I was sore from doing my first of the 30 day shred or from drinking and dancing haha.
Today was much easier than the first day, I use to always quit half way and didn't realise that the second half is much easier (on level 1 anyway). I managed to do it all not stopping but still can't do a proper press up. Also the part where you have to squat and box is a killer. Plus doing jumping jacks with about 10 blisters on my feet today wasn't nice.
Some people gain weight as you put muscle on but your meant to lose inches.
I've been doing yoga and 10 minute workouts on youtube by tiffany rothe love the 10 minute booty shaking waist workout (its not really great for cardio or burning calories) you can't half feel it the next day in your sides and stomach.
Took my pics on Thursday night as don't have measuring type. Well gave me the motivation I needed. I looked much worst than I thought.0 -
9/30 done Friday, had day off yesterday.
There's no way I could find any motivation to do this in the evening, if I don't do it first thing that's it. I think I'm quite a morning person anyway though. Before I quit the wine the routine always was in the evening to sit and not move as soon as we'd had dinner and got children to bed. I'm trying to keep busy now though.
Can def feel a difference, and my husband mentioned it too.
Plus I bought a new pair of jeans in my normal size and I kept have to hoik them up all day yesterday! Good sign! I'm gonna do 10/30 this morning then measure!LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩0 -
Angela84 thats so good hope I get same results. And thats only after 10 days. Level2 and 3 is where your meant to see the real difference.
Is anyone else doing extra exercise and dieting whilst doing 30 day shred?
I have noticed that after the workout I have much more energy and feel so good. Though waking up in the morning I feel like i've been 10 rounds with Mike Tyson haha. I don't know how you doing the video in the morning am defo more of a night creature.0
