I think I'd like to take part in this!
My goals for 2014:
- Save £5000 minimum.
- Tighten up my budget and keep a hold of it for the whole year.
- Sell my present home and move to a more suitable property.
I have a few other aspirations, you know the usual: lose weight, become fitter, have a nice holiday, eat more greens etc. but if I achieve these 3, I will be happy.LBM: August 2006 £12,568.49 - DFD 22nd March 2012

:rotfl: at Bazey!
These are a mix of hopes and goals:
1. That my pregnancy will be a healthy one, and that the baby will arrive safely in June.
2. Get a work-life balance back!
3. To find some part-time temp work before May.
4. That a great job will manifest for me ready for January 2015!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Ok, here goes:
1. Be more sociable...probably join a dating site in the hope of finding a nice man :-)
2. Lose lots of weight.
3. Still have a gym membership at the end of the year, having been consistently throughout 2014.
4. Chalk up at least 500km on the treadmill...and be able to run 5 (maybe 10km) quite comfortably.
5. Buy first investment property.
6. Save and plan for investment number 2 in 2015.
7. Learn more - in the field of finance, tax, property or similar.
8. Re-learn Spanish.
9. Have a much needed holiday.
10. De-clutter home so I can leave at the drop of a hat.
Think 10 is enough for now - don't want to overdo it!0 -

My resolution is to look after myself this year. This includes
Losing weight - have joined slimming world and am determined to stick to it.
Exercising - have signed up to do the Yorkshire 3 peaks for Altzheimers research on 19 July
To get a job - so that I can pay for a sunny holiday - no where flash, but fancy some sun!!Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
1. Win a holiday somewhere warm, preferably all inclusive
2. Enter all comps ending that day (or at least most days)
3. Finish decorating house
4. Buy (throughout the year) and distribute Christmas presents before Christmas (already bought a lot of them - and birthday presents
). I'm always running round like a headless chook trying to find gifts.
5. Eat healthier
6. Lose weight, or at least be fitter (don't get bus to/from station unless it's peeing down! Already broken that one, but determined to do better now I've listed it!).
Thanks
