Good morning

Hate this time of year all the bills are rising
Council tax has gone up £3 a month to £162 is so expensive
Water has gone up by about £1, really could do with a meter as we pay a lot but would need to get pipes changed in the house to get one as we have shared service. Maybe worth looking into to see if will save long term?
Electricity direct debit is also going up £4 a month which is reasonable as we do have a debit account at the moment. Ex uses up so much, really need to continue on with the plan to get him out as would save me a fortune. They tried to put gas up as well by £6 a month, we are coming out of the winter and we are £11 in credit, hello I dont think so as would be stupidly in credit so they have agreed to stay as it was.
Need to get some food shopping so may venture out tonight, yawn!Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning, tfi friday I love these short weeks

Food shopping last night £103  but freezer and store cupboard now rammed, breakfast food for work sorted for a few months, hossie duly stocked up on carrots, birthday card and wee pressie bought for sister and bought some seeds to grow in the garden so not as bad as could be. Think can squeeze into the budget.
Should be a NSD weekend, have hossie trainer and farrier but money already put aside from my birthday. Nothing else planned if the weather is good plan to tidy up a bit of the garden and do some ebay
Bought carrots, parsnips, peas and runner bean seeds so will work out when can start planting, will help my food budget.
Brain dump time....
Still want to keep the house so still aiming to save that money to be able to buy ex out and take on the mortgage myself, obviously need to clear the debt first but all amounts to lots of money saving.
Was going to buy house with OH and move further out but I dont want to move away from family and my commute will be horrible so need to discuss this more with him, it may break us I am not sure
but I need to make sure I am doing the right thing, and to me the right thing is staying where I am, work is a reasonable commute, my family are local, hossie is very local and settled.
The other big thing is the OH snores, first few months sleeping in same room was ok, but for the last 4/5 months I cant sleep in the same room, I end up having to sleep on the sofa, OH seems a bit selfish and never offers to sleep on sofa so I get a disturbed sleep and not very comfy and its making me feel ratty and resentful to him
I have tried earplugs and the like and also going to bed before him which work temporarily but if I wake in the night then I am screwed. Unfortunately I am one of those people that need 8 hours a night or I cant function so really in a quandry again. OH was due to come up to mine this weekend but I am told him no, I need a weekend of sleeping properly so it will be just me pottering around doing my own thing, think OH was a bit sad but to be honest I am looking forward to a weekend doing what I want to do rather than worrying about someone else. Does that sound selfish, probably, maybe I am not cut out for relationships at the moment and should just stick to being by myself for a while? Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

It sounds like a bit of a dilemma to me but only you know how much of a deal breaker this is. There seem to be a couple of things going on here, the majority of which smacks of you making all the effort
Hugs honey, hope it all works out for the best and you have a good weekend

Good morning

Lovely weekend, hossie trainer went well, did loads at yard, cleared field of poo and had good tidy up. Cut grass and weeded back garden so looks smart.
Sunday did 2 loads of washing including bedding which went back on after drying on the line
OH came round for afternoon and sat in garden and chilled chatting and reading. Got wee bit of sunburn oops but great way to spend a weekend. Didnt have major chats about house, must do this weekend. Complete NSD weekend so even better

Good morning

Expenses put in today, mainly due to the £300 I had to spend yesterday but make about £5 in profit from mileage which when paid will go straight to my CC.
No ebay done, is really hard during the week as lots to do just trying to keep the house organised as I do everything as ex doesnt do anything
Really must do ebay as it will get me out of the situation better but it seems a viscous circle. Must sort things out.
Got £5 vouchers for Jus rol so of to the shops at lunchtime to see what I can get. Nothing else exciting!Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

I officially hate my job as of today
What turned from a simple e-mail from me about someones inappropriate comments has turned into a full on meeting planned about communications and the lot when it all didnt need to
So angry today as it has all been blown out of proportion and its the managements fault and it has been handled appallingly. If it does turn into a everyone in meeting then I will make my comments fully known when I have asked for a personal one to one with my director and it was turned down then I will quite happily say things that I was saying just for him in front of everyone if needs be, if it embarasses him then so be it. I am so fed up today and if I desperately didnt need the money I probably would have walked out
Lets hope tomorrow is a better day. And for now planning on getting those extra incomes in somehow to get me out of this crappy situation sooner.
Didnt end up getting voucher bits will do tomorrow, went for lunch with mum which she paid for :A as was so angry and upset and needed to vent.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning. My office meeting has been arranged for monday afternoon, how exciting, not sure how it will turn out but got lots of notes written and my grievance about how the situation was handled by the senior management will be top of my agenda, not letting this one drop as so angry about it all.
Min payment out for NW card so balance gone down again, down to just over £5k now, must update signature, slowly getting there

Good morning

Payday
Worked out was £199 under budget last month, even with the holiday spending came out well, a lot of this was due to money gifted to me for my birthday but its all good. Have worked out budget this month and left a slightly larger balance as nephews birthday and a couple of parties to go to. Have transferred £100 to my CC from the budget from last month. Also £100 from my budget for horse food (not needed as bought in bulk previously) so my NW CC is now £4891
All going in the right direction again.
Small spends today milk and bread and wee bit of cash out for sisters birthday celebration, of to London on sunday to see show and dinner, tickets already paid for, think mum is paying for food so just train ticket to pay. Hossie trainer tomorrow but already paid for. Need to get fuel but this and all the above is included in new budget
Also this is now month 4 without going into my overdraft so dead chuffed about that!
Was charged 36p interest on my Sains CC last month, much better than the £33 I was paying. I put my work expenses on their last week but this will be paid monday so with the extra that I get including mileage etc will take it down to just over £1k

Good morning

Good weekend, saturday had hossie trainer and did box training, She had horrific experience being brought to my yard where she was manhandled on so a long road ahead but we borrowed a friends trailer and she put 3 hooves on the trailer with a wee bit of persuasion but did it by herself, so proud
Another session booked this weekend so wait and see how she gets on again. Sunday went out to London which was lovely, mum paid for train and I spent £35 on dinner so not too bad. Had to spend extra getting taxi part way back and then ex came to pick us up halfway as signalling failure on the train.
Went to head office on monday for meeting seemed to go ok, was a wee bit frustrating but most of the issues solved. Tired after long drive so got takeaway and treated ex too to say thanks for sunday taxi duties. Got mileage expenses to put in so a few more pounds to go in the pot
Ex is short of money this month as he was off sick and has just got statutory pay so looks like will need to put extra into joint account, am sure can just about squeeze into budget if not hopefully only a few pounds into the overdraft. Still plenty of food for meals at home and my ebay piles is growing bigger by the day, must put some time away to start on that.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
