Good morning
Little bit straighter with my CC's now after lots of number crunching and brain ache! On my NWCC I have £3310 at 0%, this runs out August 2014. I am currently paying interest on £904.85.
I am paying interest on full amount of Sains CC of £1792.
I am going to wait till end July and then see if I can get a balance transfer of whole amount of NWCC to new 0% card in time for the 0% period ending. If that works then I will throw all my overpayments at my Sains CC and clear that first.
Another NSD, lunch bought in from home and dinner out of the freezer
Wormed hossie last night, normally she is good but not so yesterday, most of the wormer went on her or over me but she got about half a tube I think! Nevermind will be ok! Must do some work with her as havent for ages
Life is still a bit of a car crash it seems, just feel like there is always so much to do and never enough time and just dont seem to progress with things very far, very fastNeed to have a re-assess and see if I can help myself somehow.
Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
Mortgage 13-1-25 - £63K

I know exactly what you mean. There are simply not enough hours in the day/days in the week sometimes. I know we bring this on ourselves choosing to have horses etc but I sympathise greatly. I've actually started (another) spreadsheet to keep me on track which even includes when to fit housework in as boring as it sounds. It gets me down if I don't get it done but I always put it off so this way it's just another schedule to stick to. Who knows if it'll work! Good luck, and I hope the cc plan works xxDebt - CCV £3792

Debtfree thanks for the reply, seriously a spreadsheet to fit in things like housework etc is something I need, am rubbish with spreadsheets but can see why you do it! Hope you can succeed to
Took advice on the CC board and have done the balance transfer today, luckily all gone through to one card, total fee is £210 so about 4 months interest so worth it. Now to pay it all off.
One note balance transferred £6k, they have given me a credit limit of £11.7k eek! No wonder people get into trouble. I earn £23k on this so not even a big earner.
Now to pay it off asap. Got 32 months interest free.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Well done on the balance juggling
Limits are going nuts again at the moment, or so it seems. I earn about the same as you if you add in Mr Minx's payments to me for his half of the bills (which I always do when I'm applying for stuff, as the credit check shows the whole mortgage coming out of my account) - at the moment, my four cards have limits of £10k, £7k, £6k and £3.2k, so more than a year's gross earnings.

(Thinking about it, there are parts of Scotland where I could buy a flat with the £15k of remaining available credit I have!!!!)0

Just posted this on another thread so thought would copy and write it here as well, just thinking about my thoughts...
My background few long term relationships, I ended 2, one broke up with me and broke my heart, moved on, had new partner broke up with him last feb. Still living in same house (shared mortgage) with ex but at the moment this seems to be ok, good friends sharing house, no hard feelings. Started going out with new OH in June (been friends for 10 years) and this was great at first but now not sure if it is right. Not desperate to be with him all the time, he lives in another county so only see each other at weekends, but to be honest quite happy on my own at weekends. Like doing stuff with him but just as friends really. Also cant sleep in same room as snoring problems which is a major issue, other one is that I dont want to move, and he doesnt either due to jobs so dont think there is ever a long term situation there. Just dont know what to do.
I am 36, looking at being single again, would quite like children and just want that special man to fit in with my life, so yes I guess I am kind of selfish there and probably unrealistic expectations, but I think with the right person I would move, change things if it was right. I just dont know. I dont want to hurt my current OH but cant see it going long term, I am just procrastinating really
Sorry didnt mean to have a whinge....am sure there is the right thing out there for all of us, just trying to keep up that hope.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Caz it is ludicrous....if I didnt close my credit cards I have limits on 3 now of £11.7K, £6k and £5.6K!! Way more than I earn and that is gross salary. Consider where I live and the cost of living (mortgage etc) and its mad!Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning
Not a great morning escaping hossies, massive splinter from fixing fence so late to work, now landlines down at work so arguing with BT to get them fixed, is it friday yet
Interview moved to next monday, hope it still goes ahead ok, could do with the cash, on the plus side my house is now super tidy (well at least the bits they will see are!) Rest is a work in progress building site...one day my house will be finished! When I bought this house knew it needed work but didnt think this much. Back garden fence is nearly completed so at least that is one thing to tick of the list.
Ended up with small spends yesterday, £6 on fresh bits, bread and veg. Need to do a big shop for more fresh bits so will prob do friday night now. Have £10 voucher from survey site so all helpsDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
