Last ebayer paid so another £4.70 winging its way to my insurance account :)

Little mare, not so little anymore, eek! She must be at least 15hh now, she has just turned 3 (mid April). I have now ridden her twice, just a circuit or so of the school. Have pictures so must do a link sometime. My trainer is away for a couple of weeks so going to try and spend the time doing some more loading training as she was so good before and is easy for me to do with her. Am busy tomorrow but nothing planned sunday so a good time to start :D

    Good afternoon :)

Good weekend, spent ages making cakes, made battenburg, bakewell slices, chocolate muffins, orange cookies, scones and white choc chip cupcakes. All great apart from the pink didnt work in the battenburg, tasted fine. Never again tho, lots of late night swearing on friday night! These were all for a high tea we had to celebrate my dad's 80th. So organising saturday am and the party in the afternoon with extended family. A NSD too :D Have lots of cakes left over from spare bits and practice runs so wont need to buy any sweet stuff for ages. Was absolutely shattered in the evening so had an early night.

Sunday brushed my hossie so she looks cared for, cleared my field, did all my washing, line dried as weather was lovely and then went to OH's parents for BBQ. Small spends as bought likit and holder for the hossie.

Another NSD today, £3 received from survey site so up to £148 in my savings total, halfway there :D

    Good morning :)

Another survey payment has landed, some mystery shopping for house insurance last week so another £26 sent to my insurance, new total £174 :D Really pleased with this, once this is paid all can go to debts so hope to keep up same momentum.

Quick signature update as well, everything generally going in the right direction.

Total owed as of 25-4-14 was £15293.89. Total owed today is £15,117.53 so its gone down by £176, not a lot but at least a downward trend :)

    Good morning :)

Another spendy day, am really slacking at the moment, was ok during the day had lunch prepared from home, got home and ex fancied takeway, I was tired so gave in too easy, I paid, he went to get it, £8 but still had plenty of food in the freezer I could have had. Nevermind. Today lunch bought in and food out of the freezer for dinner tonight. I need to get a few groceries but have £10 of giftcard so that will minimise spending.

My electricity DD has gone up from £47 to £62 :( Need to try and speak to ex about reducing this. One bonus tho is I have claimed back a credit from my gas a/c of £21 so that should reach my bank shortly, will add to insurance fund. Gas DD is staying the same.

Am £168 overdrawn with another £150 at least of expenses, this was due to me paying my house insurance out of my current a/c, interest should only be about £5 so still cheaper than putting it on my cc, but it will be hard work getting it back down to 0 next month, another challenge, sigh!

One day I will be debt free, have savings and have some leftover general spending!

    Good morning :)

Spendy day on saturday as got takeaway, was tired, but no excuse really. Had a busy day and did a load more fencing, nearly there, painted a wee bit more on sunday so slowly getting there :) Did a load of boring surveys in the evening to slightly offset my spending!

Yesterday was a NSD, had dinner from the freezer, took advantage of ebay free listings and managed to list 38 :) Got a few watchers so hope a few things sell.

Takeaway leftovers for lunch today, need to get some cash out for hoss trainer tomorrow but no other spends :)

    Good morning :)

Debtfree am selling random stuff, everything from stable door guard to pot pourri! Still have shed loads left to sell, amazing what you find in the house! Decided worth putting on ebay at least once because you never know what will sell!

So min payment out to NWCC, mortgage out so a bit more knocked of the debt. £21.81 refund arrived from gas supplier so sent to insurance so now at £196, just £100 to go :D Then can concentrate on the debt again!

Now £260 in overdraft with another £50 spend today for hoss trainer and then for yard owner looking after hossie this weekend but that should be it. Pay day next week so can hope to stretch out till then and then try and reduce it back to 0.

    Good morning :)

So now £318 in overdraft and still need to get fuel tonight :( Have been of sick for a few days last week and this week, got a never ending bug that cant get rid of, of to the doctors again next week. Anyhow upshot is due to stupid sick leave policy at work I am £150 down on pay this month so likelihood of getting out of the overdraft is zero!

I was keeping overdraft at 0 to look good to bank if I can ever take on mortgage but as that is a long way off and my interest charges are minimal compared to my credit cards I am going to not worry about this and focus on paying of my cards first.

I seem to keep going round in circles with the debt and to be honest am a bit sick of it all :( Fed up with whats going on as a whole and need to get out of it.

    So my priorities for money:-

1st continue saving my insurance target I have £196 and need £305 to pay for life insurance in August. I have been notified of a quidco payment and some survey money due so hopefully this will reach its target asap.
Continue doing ebay etc as that is bringing the money in, have a few bids on the stuff this week so fingers crossed for some more.
2nd once the insurance target is reached I have no more major expenses this year so will focus all extras on my 2 credit cards.
3rd once the credit cards are paid of then I will reduce my overdraft
4th would like to pay the sofa of, but 0% interest so not worrying about that too much yet
5th start saving, I have big targets to meet :)
6th save to buy ex out of the house
    7th overpay the mortgage!

So the above will take me a while but I NEED to do this for my own state of mind.

So next month I am £150 short and £400 in the red. But my overdraft is £850 so in theory I have £400 bunce. Am going to ignore this and try and stick to my budget if I can.

I wont need farrier money as already put aside so £25, have plenty of hoss food so another £100. Prob wont need hairdresser so £30. Will prob be charged interest so thats £5 need to find. So I have £150 to spare which covers my pay shortfall :) So this wont go to overpayments but will stay in my OD to balance myself out so shouldnt increase my overdraft by anymore.

Food wise I have set myself a budget of £100 a month for this. This month I have way overspent looking at around £166. I have loads in my freezer and cupboard so am going to see how long I can stretch this out for. I will need to buy fresh bits, fruit, bread etc but hope to come in way under my £100 budget. Challenge is on as of Monday, pay day :)

Out tomorrow for day out with OH, hope minimum spending will take £10 cash out of bank, have around £5 in change and hope to come back with change. Will see if I can get OH to pay for train :)

    Good morning :)

Spends first....£30 taken out of cash machine on saturday, £5 spent have £25 left in purse so will put that aside for hoss trainer session in July, small saving on budget. £56 on fuel. So be £400 in overdraft :(

Good things....£14 received from Quidco, £5 from survey money and £40 from first lot of ebay sales so this has been sent to insurance fund which now stands at £255 :D Only £50 left to go. Still awaiting some people to pay for ebay so will be able to add to the target.

Got charged £13 interest on one cc and £14 on another so going to see if worth while getting another card and doing a 0% balance transfer? Will have a look at fees and see if worthwhile. Should be able by the end of this month hopefully be up to insurance target and putting all my extras to my cards so hopefully interest will go down to a minimum. Watch this space.

Pay day not today is tomorrow which is ok as balances budget a bit better as payments from weekend out of bank before payday so can start afresh.

NSD today and lunch bought in, dinner from freezer :)
