FBO, welcome back! Wishing you strength and positivity to keep control of your life. You only get one shot! Bless you!
So it has been decided apparentlythat the kiddies are having a sleepover at my mums tonight. She has her bedrooms all ready but no foster kiddies yet, and she wants to borrow mine
which is serendipity really, as I have very dark circles under my eyes and feel about a hundred years old. Expecting my telegram any day now.
They've even decided what they're having for tea, I just need to pack some bits and drive them over when DS finishes school later.
Today I also want to do some batch cooking and meal planning. DW and WM both going and I'm just having :coffee: to gee me up. Ahh. Need to check DS trousers tonight, the ones he's gone in today are flapping around his shins. I'm sure they were fine before Christmas...Bossymoo

Morning all
Hugs, sticks, vibes to all.
Where is today going? Feels like 5 minutes since I got up (7am) but its already 9.50!!
So far I have done my emails, caught up on here and sorted out the theory of my finances until the end of May. I borrowed some money from DDs bank account in Dec 2012 (when we were having major problems with the CSA payments being delayed left right and centre) to cover the final payment for her trip to Paris otherwise I wouldn't have been able to pay it and cover bills over Christmas/New Year:mad:. With one thing and another I haven't had the money to pay it back as I've been trying to pay it back in one lump sum. So early hours of this morning I sat bolt upright wide awake and said "why don't I pay it back in instalments instead?" :rotfl:I was going to pay it back with interest anyway, so I'm doing that and adding a good will gesture which rounds the payment off to a nice easy number to remember. Now my finances don't look so poorly, DD will be getting about £50 extra in her account, and the theory is I should hopefully go into credit in my bank account around Christmas if I can stick to my budget. Christmas/Birthdays/School uniform are all budgeted for so I am crossing everything that this year things go smoothly
:rotfl:
Plan for today now is to have a quick bath (so I can warm up before I go out), finish preparing the books now I know there are no mistakes that customers need to know about, put the books out, then I have to go to Mr A & M@talan to make returns/exchanges. If I get anything else done except laundry when DD gets in from school then its a bonus. She needs to be chased for a bath as well while I remember. She's not having one in the morning as it'll end up being rushed and she needs to be clean for trying her dress on tomorrow  (I'm requesting pictures).
Best shift myself or I'll never get these books out before lunch! :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

So much to do and no GUAG
DW loaded but not enough in it to put on just yet. My bed stripped and bedding washing on.
Trying to work out what to do with my sister & nephews (& their partners) Christmas presents. It seems that my sister wants nothing to do with myself and my parents  She moved house well before Christmas (she told me via a message on f@cebook) and we've heard nothing since, no change of address, nothing. She has been in contact with our aunties though (our mum's sisters)
I guess I'll box the stuff and put in the attic.
I've finished writing my food shopping list which will have to be done after the heating repair man comes this afternoon. Fingers crossed he turns up.
Now back to bedroom decluttering0 -
Quick HHC anyone?
I am going to run around madly putting away the dry washing and collecting hangers.

BTW I had to google nurses uniforms (pictures; then and now, for a similarities and differences exercise as we're looking at Flo. Nightingale) - well - SOME of those nurses must be a little...erm...chilly:cool:
Kaz2904 I am so sorry to hear about your friend.:( How awful; and what a dreadful shock.
MadamMim ....just (((HUGS))) cos I have no idea what words to say.
Skinty I reckon we need to build a good strong kennel to keep these wretched BDs contained. I'll go chop some wood to make it, shall I?;) I can also get the metal to make a good strong padlock, and make something to put in their bowls to keep them occupied so they leave us alone.

Flying today will depend on whether my left wrist stops making strange grinding/scrunching noises whenever I move it.:eek:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
