Evening all! Paid work for me all day, every day and really don't feel like flying when I get back and it's all dark and cold...lit the stove (no central heating!) so it will be toasty in 10-15 mins, perfect for relaxing in front of! Have done a few 'bits' though, will save the remainder for the weekend. Looks like I'll have a busy one, but as I am trying hard to 'clear to neutral' when I do stuff (knitting, reading, scoffing biccies, getting ready for bed, etc) I'm finding things are much quicker to do!

DS3 is much brighter an said ' you was right it was a morning thing I was fine once I settled into the day' Music to my ears. Let's hope this will reduce tomorrow's suffering or at least give him belief that it will pass. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Yes, she was - but your reply could have been 'google it then!'.
Anything and everything can be found on t'internet;)
BTW I had to google nurses uniforms (pictures; then and now, for a similarities and differences exercise as we're looking at Flo. Nightingale) - well - SOME of those nurses must be a little...erm...chilly:cool:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Evening all, I haven't caught up with thread so hope everyone is ok.
Busy at the paid stuff today, but in the mornings this week each room has now had attention, so I can have a lie in before the paid stuff tomorrow and enjoy a day out with DH on Saturday.
Bring it on....Spend less now, work less later.0 -
DS1 has decluttered work top in kitchen, and also his stuff in living room, and I have carpet again!
OH has washed all the towels.
Work tough going this afternoon, as two classes that are unavoidably taught by supply staff on other days are forgetting how to behave in class. I shall be waiting outside the last lesson for five of them tomorrow! They thought it would be terrifically funny to run out and not stay today. Phone call home as well I think.
Hugs, sticks and spoons as needed! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Hi all
Busy, busy day. Up at 6.30am, did the ironing and put mealballs in sc before work. Did 4 hrs at job no 1, had a meeting with DS1s consultant, then 2 hrs voluntary work. Home, family fed, cleared up, sheets changed, dusted and hoovered in bedroom then 1.5hrs paid job number 2.
Bit disappointed that OH has only done a half day today and I came home to find the dishwasher needed emptying and washing still in the machine when it had been bright and breezy outside. Our little chat about him helping more has worked then. Sigh.
Right, I am in bed so I am switching this off and going to sleep. My boss keeps telling me I look tired and it kind of feels like a criticism (or is she just being kind?). Either way I do need an early night.
Oh and 3 loads of wet washing sitting downstairs. Its a good forecast for tomorrow so I MUST hang it out before I go to work!0 -

I've been so busy this week! I've not even looked at the list.
Met a friend who had a shock diagnosis of breast cancer with bone mets just before Christmas. She can't believe it, nor can we. She only went for the scan because they couldn't figure why her back wasn't healing. Now they can't even operate. She had no idea she had a mass in her breast despite checking them regularly. It's just so sad.
I'm getting my list up ready for the morning so I can just potter my way through. I'm hoping that I sleep ok tonight, my hip's playing me up something rotten.
New babies, and new flyladies, welcome! Black dogs, bog off. CY, well done to DD, dusty, well done to DS2 and gentle squeeze for DS3.
