Morning everyone.
Been up and fed cat and put the bin out. Bit wet and cold out there.
Will be flying in the living room this morning before going down to the hospital to see how GS2 is doing. See what else I can get done.
Hugs,spoons and sticks where needed.0 -

My flying ideas have gone right out of the window this week, been struck down with the lergy and I've felt rotten since Monday, but with some anti-b's I am beginning to feel a bit brighter and my head doesn't feel so muzzy.
Hopefully I will be back to full-strength on Monday.

Hugs and spoons to all that need them!! :grouphug:
Thank you to everyone for their best wishes and good luck vibesI think my interview went ok. The shop manager was lovely, very easy to talk to. She has more interviews to do but I should hear either way next week.
It's the girls dad's birthday today so I need to go out and find some type of gift for him. I have no idea what to get, nor do the girlsI'm going for lunch with a male friend today so I'll pick his brain.
We normally go out for a family dinner for each others birthdays but the girls dad is being a bit funny recently, not returning texts and calls to the girls. Sending me random text messages in the early hours of the morning about stuff that's none of his business. I don't know what's up with him but we've not seen any point trying to organize dinner with him.
I bumped into my next door neighbours when we were shopping for food tech stuff last night (DD2 never bothers to tell me about cooking til the last minute) so I spoke to them about their broken fence. It still doesn't look like they're going to fix it but at least they now know that it is their responsibility and that I have spoken to the housing association about it. I'm at the stage of not caring any more
Right off to do random jobs before braving the elements to go shopping0 -

Yuck! Hope you're feeling better soon.
DS is away to school (delivery arrived just as we left the house :T so I don't have to wait in all day!) I'm just having a coffee and will set off to docs. DD nose is very "busy" but I've taken her temp and she's fine to have the booster jabs. She's got her princess dolls out at the moment, tipped them out of the tray, and is now sat in her "boat" :rotfl: Can't believe she doesn't have anything short sleeved, I've put her in her brothers tshirt
Then when we get back, cuddle time then hhc x 500 :rotfl:
I'm going out for tea tonight!Bossymoo

hugs, sticks and spoons to everyone in need.
Going to get HHC cleaning done in kitchen then will have a brew and sit down with Fred.
Any joiners for a HHC?The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Thank you for reminding me to take "something" out the freezer for our dinner too!
Ditto! I'm the world's worst at remembering to do that.
Haven't got to go out until about 1.30 pm today, so will carry on dot-to-dotting and will also try and follow the list "crosses fingers".
Hope to post later .....0 -
Morning all.
Hugs, sticks and vibes to all.
Another work day today.
Minor rant - feel free to ignore
Discovered yesterday that I didn't have enough pre-prepared order forms to go in with books so I had to re-ink my stamp & sort that out, then had to take my paper-cutter apart and lubricate that as it wasn't cutting the forms down (they are about 1-2cm too big to fit in the draw I store them in, plus they look so much better in the books when they're shorter) then cut scrap stuff up until there was no excess oil coming off the blade, then cut all the forms, then I was going to stamp them but the stamp was pooling ink too much and making stuff illegible (first timers mistake is my excuse
) so had to sit 'wasting' ink stamping more scrap paper/kitchen roll until the stamp was properly legible again then stamp the forms. So a 2 hour job turned into a 5 hour job! Finally got the books finished and labelled up about 11pm last night, except for newsletters which I've got 95% prepared, but I need to check for any errors in the catalogues or items out of stock which I add to it which I couldn't do until today when I place my personal order. I hate short campaigns.
rant over:p:rotfl:
Today is calling cards to be stamped/written (I pre-write "I'll call again tonight", "Contact me by Monday if you want to to place an order" and "I called with your order, please contact me to arrange delivery" cards to save me standing on the customers step writing them when its raining etc), I have 4 catalogues to go through before I place my personal order and I would much rather just curl up and sleep
Any ways, going to do some dailies in a minute as I suspect DD will have left her bedroom curtains closed again so I'll make beds etc while I'm up there, put something on to watch and get on with work. I currently have both sofas and the sideboard full of work stuff and I'd love to get it all cleared away. I also need to marinate the chicken for tea. I'm attempting to make Chicken Tikka from the hairy dieters new book. I've never made it before except with a jar of sauce to see if DD liked it so it could prove interesting :rotfl: :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
