bossy did you get all little ones possessions back (ive been worried for you re the school keeping the birth cert) hope the cardi and blanket turned up safe

I did thank you, certificate all tucked up in my file :D the other little girl was in her cardi, so they were asked to swap, and the teacher had her blankie. But I've picked her up from wraparound care tonight with no bag! And only 1 mitten. Schools are like black holes, lol. I'll have a look in the morning when we take DS to class.

Just had mail from MSE towers, asking me to change my password, as it was not strong enough, so added some numbers etc to it!!

    Me too!

All quiet here. Finished work for the week, home about 4.30 so I started tea. DS is jealous that DD has packed lunch on Wednesday so I've done him packed tea, lol. I chopped a spud into wedges, flattened two meatballs and found some tiny bread rolls so they are having home made happy meals. I've put his in little plastic tubs inside a lunch bag, he's so happy bless him.

Paid stuff been a bit crackers but the "week" has gone fast. DD has preschool jabs tomorrow :( but other than that we are having a quiet day at home (read as doing jobs)

Laundry isn't too bad and we are fairly tidy as we haven't been home much, but the hob now needs degreasing and the LR rug wants vaccing. DD has just dropped her "burger" and is using my rug as a napkin

    And breathe...

    Wendywitch Good luck.

i thought you had to have a tv licence if you had any device in the house that was capable of receiving a tv or radio signal including computers. If im wrong that will save dd2 some money as they could only watch tv through iplayer etc as the house they've moved into has no ariel but her fella was told because they have tvs even for gaming and dvds they still need a licence

Soz if this has been replied to already - not caught up with thread! I don't have a licence either, although I do have a TV - but I only use it to watch Netflix & Lovefilm. I do watch Dr Who on i-player, but weeks after it has been shown on TV. It's my understanding that you only need a tv licence if you watch TV or record TV at the time it's on, whether it's via your TV, laptop, PC or a.n.other device.

Re the Sky man - when he came to mine (when I had no TV) he seemed amazed and asked (in all seriousness) 'No tv? What do you do?' Hahahaha....lots more than you, mate!

CyclingYorkie I needed to read that post today. DS1 has Crohns and suffers with anxiety and depression. He has done nothing education-wise for about 4 years. His anxiety is really bad at the moment to the extent where I woke up the other night to find him sitting on the floor by my bed because he was scared of being alone.

We go round in circles with all the health professionals and no-one seems to have the answer. He turns 16 this year and I just dont know what will happen to him. Its so nice to hear of other kids who have suffered with health problems but made good progress.

Oh and Wendy, I can relate to your post. I went back to work after 2 years of being a full time carer and I was terrified!!! Its done me so much good though and I am very slowly building my confidence. I really hope you get the job.

Living room done, well the Xmas Decs are still in a pile in the corner waiting for hubby to get the box out of the loft and put them away but we will just gloss over that touchy subject.

Off to put a load of washing on (where does it all come from?).

Cant remember who said they were finding this being organised stuff hard work but they werent kidding. I am looking forward to the weekend and not having a mountain of housework to do though.

thank you, youve confirmed what pigpen told me eariler ill def get DD2 and fella to look into this:T

DH should be back soon hes taken DS1 and friends to town for some concert/gig or other music thing. DS2 has taken himslef to bed:eek: so when DH gets back its tea then a dvd and some knitting

kazwookie, id love to be there now but i do feel desperately sorry for those suffering damage. dont laugh but one of the highlights of the holiday for us the kids included is to walk from sheringham to weybourne picking up as much litter as we can on the way. we usually end up pulling sledges of crates full of carp that have been washed up and putting it all by the bins in weybourne carpark. its feels really good when you clear a bit away like that - apart from fishing debris the most common item seems to be helium balloons.
we do do normal stuff the rest of the week:rotfl:
