Home made soup for lunch already in my flask. I am getting so organised but can it last?
I just said the same to DS1 :rotfl: I made the boys' lunches last night and tidied the kitchen before bed, it was so nice not to have to face a scene of devastation this morning!
I've WU, had another coffee while putting my face on (takes me ages every day, I used 12 products this morning and I'm only going to work ). I'll DUPA in a minute.
Paid stuff for four hours, I haven't been there for almost a fortnight, it could be bogging
Mrs MP, thank you for the heads up re: the no buying toiletries fred, I had a quick look last night, some of the lists and stashes had me literally , thirty four shower gels?!?! I'm feeling a lot better about my hoard now
but I think keeping a list of my UU products might inspire me. I started last night TA a shampoo I only bought last week, it's sulphate free and said it was for dry hair so I thought it would be ideal for my naturally curly hair -- as soon as I rubbed it in, my hair matted like a dreadlock, I couldn't even get my fingers through it
So straight in the bin it went.
Congrats susan!
Need to shift myself. Have a great day all xx0 -

Not much flying will happen here today as I have a "work programme insight appointment" whatever one of those is, this morning. It's mandatory. I have to take a copy of my c.v with me, if I have one. I can't find one and there is no sign of one stored on the laptop either
I have managed to dig out some certificates which are pretty pointless as I have never done any work in the areas which the certificates cover
I'm worried sick about going to this. My mind is completely blank, I can remember where I've worked but no dates or anything
I get like that a lot, I've been told it's due to the BD and anxiety
I'm lucky that my best friend's husband has agreed to go with me. He can't really help but it's nice to have some back up.
Then this afternoon I've managed to get myself a job interview. I'm not feeling that either now but it's too late now.
I've kept it quiet and only just told my best friend about it yesterday. It's only a part time job at a family run haberdashery shop in the next town. I'm really nervous about that too. I haven't had an job interview in nearly 10 years! To be honest I'm more nervous that I'll get the job! I'm currently signed off sick by the Doctor so if I was to get the job I'll have to find out about being signed back on. Then I'm worried what would happen if I can't cope or it doesn't work out. I work better in small, close knit work environments, I couldn't work in a supermarket for example, I'd probably have a break down again
If I'm signed back on I'd be expected to take that type of job
My mum's really worried that I've gone for this too soon
So to have rambled on, nerves. I'm to load the DW, then wait, the first appointment is at 9.30 . . .0 -
Proud mum post!
DD1 has just left - for work!!!!!!!!!!!
For those who don't know me DD1 is 23, and has had ME/CFS since she was 15. At 18 she was bedbound for 18 months, so today is a big day for her.
She has been a volunteer for our local hospice charity shop for 18 months. She started 1 afternoon a week and has built up to 3 sessions a week (doing whole days where needed).
In October last year she was invited to apply to become a shop relief manager. She fretted about the form and the informal interview that followed, but they offered her the job on the spot!
Today is the first day of her induction - she's gone round this morning to unlock the shop!
I am so proud!

Pigpen i thought you had to have a tv licence if you had any device in the house that was capable of receiving a tv or radio signal including computers. If im wrong that will save dd2 some money as they could only watch tv through iplayer etc as the house they've moved into has no ariel but her fella was told because they have tvs even for gaming and dvds they still need a licence
Watching TV on the internet You need to be covered by a licence if you watch TV online at the same time as it's being broadcast on conventional TV in the UK or the Channel Islands.
Video recorders and digital recorders like Sky+ You need a licence if you record TV as it's broadcast, whether that's on a conventional video recorder or digital box.
Mobile phones A licence covers you to watch TV as it's broadcast on a mobile phone, whether you're at home or out and about.
Basically if you do not ever watch programmes as they are being broadcast you don't need a licence. The licence checker guy came round and we discussed having the tv hooked up to the xbox.. we were watching tweenies dvd at the time and he said we don't need a licence..
We don't have an aerial either.. it was hanging off the roof when we moved in so got thrown in a skip. A tv was the first thing KH bought when he left as it encouraged the children to want to go round.. until they realised he left the youngest choose what they watched and forced them to watch strictly.. they soon lost interest.
Her fella is incorrect
CY... tell her congratulations from us.. I know you must be bursting with pride! I bet she will be shattered when she gets in..
