    Morning all :)

    wendywitch - Good luck.

    CY - :T:T:T

Feeling rough here today. Didn't get to sleep until after 1am, I'm full of cold, I have an ulcer I think right up in inside my lip near my cheek bone which is aching and my thighs are aching from the workout I did on Monday. On the plus side, I don't have to go out today. :rotfl:

Plan of attack is to finish dailies on the computer (just email to go) while I wake up and hydrate, then do an easier work out to save my thighs, washed/dressed (in sports stuff ATM), other dailies and then on with paid stuff which is bagging up 75 sets of books to go out to customers. I just hope I've ordered enough for everyone :o See you all later

Phew! Also steam mopped the hall mopping myself into the (tidy!) lounge for a sneaky sit down only to realise I'd left my coffee in the kitchen

Cy that is brilliant for DD, I am so pleased for you all

    Susan big congratulation

Been to GP with DS3, she could not find much which I am hoping sets his mind at rest. He is in school now and I spoke to the receptionist with him so that he knows she will phone me if he gets worse.

Off to cricket shop now with DS1 as I promised I would. Then quick pop to Mr S required.

    Proud mum post!

DD1 has just left - for work!!!!!!!!!!!

For those who don't know me DD1 is 23, and has had ME/CFS since she was 15. At 18 she was bedbound for 18 months, so today is a big day for her.

She has been a volunteer for our local hospice charity shop for 18 months. She started 1 afternoon a week and has built up to 3 sessions a week (doing whole days where needed).

In October last year she was invited to apply to become a shop relief manager. She fretted about the form and the informal interview that followed, but they offered her the job on the spot!

Today is the first day of her induction - she's gone round this morning to unlock the shop!

    I am so proud!

:T:T:T I am so pleased for her. As someone who knows first hand what Chronic Fatigue is like (part and parcel of lupus) I am personally over the moon that she's managed to make such fantastic progress. I'm sure she knows well enough to eke out her spoons carefully - wow; you've made my day!:D

Thanks for all the sticks, everyone - keep 'em coming.:o And if anyone sees a Wolf-shaped GUAG wandering around lost, please put it on the next bus to Concrete Cow Country.:o

I suspect the problem it that it's cold and miserable, Mr LW is out for 12 hours each day due to work, I'm stuck in my gilded cage (ie the bungalow) with no dog, and no future bookings at this point. January is always a dead month; the franchisee told me he has only two bookings all month, and they are both "regulars" with other hosts.:( Hoping for a call soon with bookings for later in the year, and for a pick-up when people start going on skiing trips.:o

Flying-wise - Mr LW helped me do the lounge on Monday; it needed a "proper" dust so he kindly did all the surfaces that house the large dragons.:A I just need to do a quick Dys0n Tango, mainly in the kitchen, as Mr LW has dropped a load of crumbs in the corner where he does his sandwiches.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Going to make a concerted effort to catch up tonight. Bathroom - shower (to be) cleaned, sinks and tiles (to be) wiped, floors (to be) done, mirrors (to be) cleaned, kitchen cabinets (to be) wiped and sitting room (to be) dusted................... we'll see!!!!!
