    Rampant Recycler Debt-free and Proud!
Mrs Cautious - sending ((hugs)) and very best wishes to you and your daughters. Sure you'll manage to get onto the healthy wagon and beat this. You seem to have the positive attitude that defeats problems and you're definitely a star.

Shopping today was Li*l = £3.38, Al*i = £7.33 and Mr M £15.46 and should see me through this week I think, as plenty in freezer still :rotfl: I'm not complaining but it seems to fill as quick as I try to empty it. Think it's because I try never to throw anything away but recycle it all ;)

 My new mini cooker arrived from Germany  so at least this week can have yorkies and pastry again :j (not every day though)

Hope you all have a super Sunday

I'm adding £5.19 as have just bought 2x half price Cif cleaning spray for £1.69 each at the Co-op, along with a couple of croissants for my daughters.

I've been diagnosed with diabetic kidney disease this week, really not great timing, not telling my daughters as I know this would cause a lot of stress, so my shopping this week will be totally driven by healthy eating, my budget hasn't gone out the window though, still want to be very cost conscious.
OMG, My heart goes out to you MrsC :A You can and will beat this and your daughters will be even more proud of you than they already are once you tell them :T x

    Billie-jo, your meal looks amazing

In the last few days I have spent £10.02p on mainly toiletries, I will need to spend today as I am out of milk and juice and a few other bits and bobs. I hope to do it for £10 again though and then the next few days should be nsd.
I need to sort out my meal plan to get me through til pay day on Friday.

You are all very, very kind -- thank you so much for all your generous words of encouragement, it really is doable and shouldn't be too difficult for me to get this sorted, healthy eating to get my blood sugar down will play a v important part.

(I just read that six out of 10 people's symptoms disappear with the right approach)
With this in mind, here's my meal plan for a few days:

    Sun

    Houmous and Ryvita, fruit. Water

Aldi roast beef, loads of veg, mushrooms in hm sauce, no potatoes for me!

    Mon

YS mini shredded wheat, skim milk, nuts and fruit

Sains lean chicken salad sandwich, fruit

    Sains basics prawn stir fry

    Tues

Same breakfast and lunch then fish fingers (which were on offer :)) with salad.

    Weds

    Brek and lunch TBC

Tea at my mum's -- cod and veg

    Thurs

    Brek and lunch TBC
Tea: Aldi roast chicken with veg etc, no potatoes for me

Spend of £7.65 yesterday in LDL, £2 in Tsco and £1.99 in local shop.

Will add 11.64 to my total, still on track.

Off to the in laws today so should be a NSD, and we'll all get a lovely meal without cooking.

NSD yesterday and today should be the same again, planning to hold off on any shopping until Tuesday which is market day at which point we will need wraps, milk, lettuce, potatoes, marg for baking, apples, bananas and maybe another fruit like strawberries (our fruit and veg man has delicious fruit for so much less than in stores).

All that should see me well through the week and in to pay week; which I'm trying to eek out of this months budget.

The only thing that might effect things is baby's debut! I plan to budget a little extra for that first week so that I don't beat myself up too much for not being super mum straight away!
