Hi skintmum. Maybe look on this month as a trial run regarding your budget. If you have to tweek it for next month don't worry. I bet you've still done better than you would have in a normal month.

My budget runs from the 22nd to the 22nd and I'm going to have to be ultra frugal to keep within my budget this month.
To be fair included in my spends was a new buggy.
We'd taken DG out and his buggy was in my car but we only swapped over the baby car seat into OHs car as he was driving, and forgot the buggy, left it in my boot!!! Still it will come in handy, we can leave it at our house.
I have been poorly these last few days with a rotten virus!
Feeling slightly better but still achy

Spend of £2.15 today to get eggs for pancakes, made plenty for tonight and tomorrow and will still have eggs left for the rest of the week. Much cheaper than buying ready made and much nicer.Planning to be debt free by 11/20. MFW Jan 2028 - [STRIKE]86700[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]83057.20[/STRIKE]

Shopping ordered for delivery on Sunday from as*a. Only £29.23 this week, which I'm pleased with. This includes some cleaning products, perishable foods (fruit, vegetables, sandwich things for mine and OH's packed lunches) as well as a packet of nappies, for the rest of this week and all of next week I plan to use up things from the freezer and cupboards.

Feeling a bit peed off as I was interviewing all day off site, and we got a bill for £10.80 at the end of the day for the coffees we had all had during the day. I paid and then the other two interviewers said "oh thanks - we'll get them next time!" So I paid £10.80 for two coffees
Didn't make pancakes tonight but made the chicken and mushroom filling and had it on a crusty roll and it was lovely.
Ate about 5 Oreos after tea, which I had forgotten I'd bought so feel a bit sick now. Never mind, am giving up sugar for Lent tomorrow!Jane
ENDIS. Employed, no disposable income or savings!0 -
Another Grocery NSD. Though used up some milk for the pancakes so another day closer to needing to get a top up.It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0
