Whoa! £64 spent out of £200 and only five days in. However, I have done bulk buys of rice, pulses and dark chocolate so hopefully it will all even out in due course. I also spent £6.80 on a big box of flaxseeds to help my innards to function better. Not sure whether to count these as food or medicine (a different budget).February GC 173/200

I'm not doing too badly so far. I divided my budget roughly into £100 a week, and I have £13 left for this week, might not have to buy anything else, so am going to put this cash aside against a week where I risk overspending! :j I've also had 2 NSD's this week, a record for me.
One very expensive instant coffee brand is half price this week in sainsbugs, making it very cheap per 100g, so I bought 2 today, and may get another 2 before the offer ends next week - it would be rude not to!
Kids having beef burgers (LO really good ones, not cheapies) for tea, DH and I going to try some Ald! chicken legs, plus a load of veg.
I have a £1.50 T voucher to use, so if I do need anything, that's the first thing to get used up.

Glad to hear you are feeling better, dizzy lizzie!
I did my shop for the week and spent £21.37 in total. Have updated my signature. I stocked up on bread, dairy products and fruit and veg. None of the meat at the supermarket took my fancy so will just use up some of my meat in the freezer. My plan for the weekend is to try to make chilli nachos. My boyfriend loves this dish but I have never made it. Apparently all it is is tortilla chips with chilli on top. I think I can manage that
Tonight we're having soup with a variety of root veg, leeks, potatoes, leftover beef and pearl barley made in the slow cooker. The house smells heavenly!March GC £122.25/ £120
