    Hello!

Sorry to read about your daughter, Recovering Spendaholic! That is so painful! Hopefully it will heal soon! :(

I do think the same as everyone else: You can do it, Ladyluck1!

When I posted my plan last week I forgot that yesterday was our anniversary! Whatever I have put down is going move to tonight, and so on.
"Treated" ourselves to take away (NEVER have it unless we have a special occasions). We didnt fancy anything except pizza so we went for Domino's. How about that for an anniversary dinner!?! :rotfl:
We will maybe do something nicer in the weekend..who knows.
..but I was quite happy with that, to be honest!!

Let's call yesterday a NSD as boyfriend bought everything.

I feel gross, though! Not looking forward to logging my food intake from yesterday on the weight loss thread!! Just a day before the weighing!

    Have a good one!!

    Morning everyone

Doing quite well this week, for a change. I've totted up my receipts for this week properly and had a lovely surprise - despite spending a few pounds this morning I still have £20 left (more than I said yesterday), and I've got all my receipts and know nothing's been missed - really pleased I can carry over a bit for later in the month! :j

I have some gammon I bought to try from Ald! for tonight, various frozen potato products and a load of veg to use up, onion gravy to top it off. Also going to do a rice pudding, got loads of milk and a touch of double cream left to add.

    A xo

    Hi everyone,

I'm still under budget and haven't spent anything since Sunday, I'm really trying to stick with this.

Though I'm thinking of corned beef hash for dinner tonight, and I'm sure I need an onion for that? Though I guess I could leave it out and not have to go to the shop and temptation lol

Spent £12.28 this morning. Brought 2 lots of ys turkey mince and have turned one lot into turkey burgers for tonight. Also got some salad bits, smoked mackerel and crisp breads. then went to a farm shop and brought some free range eggs. They were only a few pence cheaper than the ones in Aldi but it was lovely to see all the chickens running free and scratching about in a field with some sheep.

Not doing so well in this challenge. Spent again today - £1.56 in total on four jars of beetroot (sig updated). I have a passion for beetroot at the moment, I can't get enough and these should last me a good while. The question now is how much over budget am I going to come in by the end of the month as I'm going to need some more salad veg soon. We'll see. Hope all you lovely thrifty peeps are having a good thursday!

NSD yesterday, possibly the same again today but I will need to spend either Friday or Saturday on meat for Sunday dinner and the extra trimmings.

Might pick some bits up today if there's any good reductions which I'm in town at the bank/getting some lunch but will try to restrain myself!
