Tonight we had turkey burgers as planned. I added a spoonful of cranberry sauce to mine and some chopped up spring onions which was nice. DH not that keen on meat & fruit though so he had them without. I am trying to do a week with no bread hence no burger bun. Have managed two days so far and doing ok. I did have another burger later that was left over as they weren't that big.
Shopping list needed now for tomorrow so better get busy planning meals.
Florenceem - love the look of your casserole.

It was so yummy - real comfort food. Had a busy day - up early - done lots of HW - so a HM meal from freezer was spot on.

I have quite a few spends from this week to update on:-

I spent £2.38 in Mr S on a few bits on pieces on Monday I also spent £4.98 in Mr Wil on various household bits and pieces I needed. This evening I then spent £4.97 in Mr A basically topping up on things we had run out off during the week before spending £0.55 in Mr W. This takes my total spend for the month to £76.29 and there should not be too much more to buy this weekend.
    GC: Feb (16th Jan - 15th Feb) £46.25 / £50 :)
    Mar (16th Feb - 15th Mar) £61.96 / £70

Question for any regular Mr T couponers (or anyone who works there). When I did some shopping there on Monday I got a till spit for £6 off a £40 spend. Can I use the £6 off £40 if my total is £40 before they deduct manufacturers coupons, or does it need to be £40 after they're deducted? (I'm really struggling if it has to be afterwards, as I desperately don't want to increase the stockpiles I'm currently working hard to shrink!)

We do this all the time, just put the £6 off £40 through first.
GC: £40 a week. Sticking to my budget, but never remembering to post in the relevant thread.
Probably buying toiletries that I don't need, as I can't resist a "bargain."

Just worked out we have £39.32 for the next three weeks, should be alright as we only need the following:

    Lettuce (2 probably)
    Wraps (minimum 4 packs)
Smoked cheese (1 pack should be enough)
    Flavoured waters
Yorkshire puddings (I've tried to make my own and failed :-( )
    Milk (2 4pinters)
    Cereal
    Fruit juice (2)
Two meats for Sunday dinners (going to look in Iceland for their ready to roast ones)
    Fruit (apples and oranges)
Cereal bars - not sure which ones yet as bf needs to pick some new ones.
    Malt loaf
    Pasta sauce

Hoping to come in a few pounds under budget. Need to bake some banana cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes and biscuits of some description. Will probably just make chocolate ones this weekend and hold off on the rest until I start my maternity leave on Wednesday.

We have plenty of meal options in so shouldn't need anything else so here's hoping I stick with everything!

I have had 2 NSDs in a row. I'll need to buy eggs tomorrow though, as we're down to our last one. I'm making carrot cupcakes tomorrow, and maybe leek and potato soup so share with friends we are seeing on Saturday.

I'd like to make them a casserole as well, but I'm out of containers to use! I was using disposable ones I'd acquired over the years, but have run out. I've also already gone through my repertoire already

I was told a few months ago that it's on total before any other deductions :D

Managed another NSD probably due to it being such carp weather that I didn't go out the door :rotfl:

Had Liver and bacon in onion gravy, mashed pots, grilled toms and baked beans - very comforting and yum :)

Hope you all have a good Friday

Today's going to be NSD #7 as I'm not going out anywhere near the shops! I've got to change what we were going to have for dinner tonight as going away for the weekend in our motorhome so want to take something ready made to just reheat in the small oven.

I've got a few things in the fridge that need using up which I'll have for breakfast and lunch (scrambled eggs, mushrooms & baked beans for breakfast and HM spicy parsnip & pear soup for lunch).

Also have some LO mashed potato to use up so am going to use to make a "pizza base". Will top with tinned chopped tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, onions, bacon & mozella cheese.

Will cook everything and then put into small tubs and assemble and reheat when we get there. Hope it works! Will serve with some garlic bread (making bread at the moment!).
