Hi everyone
Had my A&C delivery. As it was the 4th box in the deal (buy 3 get the 4th free). So I chose the medium box, as I usually get the small and didn't want to be greedy. Also got codes for the meat and fish, and a free lemon.
Are they trying to tell me something :rotfl::rotfl:
So, in all I got a medium fruit and veg box (7 veg, 3 fruit) for free, Rainbow trout fillets, pack of smoked mackerel, pack of whiting fillet, whole chicken with giblets, pack of braised steak, pack of lamb mince and pack of diced chicken for the grand total of £15.24.
Very pleased with my bargain food boxes.Have frozen the meat and most of the fish. I still need a few things I have run out of, but hopefully will not need to spend my monthly sum. Yay!!!:j

£6.78 spend today in as*a, some ys diced beef! ys yogurts for LO, some chicken spring rolls and some steak, think I'm going to make beef fried rice tomorrow instead of risotto as I really want a take away but hm fried rice, curry sauce and spring rolls will satisfy me for much less money and will be healthier for the waistline.Planning to be debt free by 11/20. Tonight we're having soup with a variety of root veg, leeks, potatoes, leftover beef and pearl barley made in the slow cooker. The house smells heavenly!
Thanks sweetypie
I love homemade soup too. You can't beat it for taste.
Leek and potato is my all time favourite.
Off to bed now and hopefully I'll be tip top soon.
No plans for the weekend other than resting and building up my strength for work next week. So no to low spends hopefully.Official DFW Nerd Club Member no:219In the Court Of The Crimson KingI don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.Gary Larson0 -
£132/£180
Struggling.
I went to Aldi to use my voucher. £52 later but I stocked up on tins and sandwich bags and foil. I realised today this month is five weekends eeek.
I intend to send the husband to Lidl on a Saturday morning, buy the bargains, salad, veg and milk. I have bread in the freezer and loads of yeast and flour.
Must try harder.0
