Oooh and I also recycled an old Xmas catalouge taking me to 13/100 items!
Good luck ladies! It's a miserable day outside for most of the UK so put that time spent inside to good use!!2015 - I am determined to lose at least 3 stone in weight and I must pay off at least one of my credit cards...If I keep telling myself, I might start believing it!!!Save £2 a day for Xmas 2015 Challenge: £56/£730:dance: HAPPY NEW YEAR - HERE'S TO A GREAT 2015 FOR US ALL! :dance:0 -
Ooh Count me in for 100 items a month!! One of my new years resolutions is to crack my hording habit!! Been in the progress in moving DS to the big bedroom from the box room for months but the result has been two rooms that look like a dump!!
Yesterday I got rid of:
1. Box of bricks had been holding onto since DS was a baby - pretty yuk!
2. Broken Car Garage
3. Storage tub that had lost lid
Have loads of boxes of books and dvds that I have started pricing to farm out and some ebay to list later!

Sorted a bin bag full of my daughters's old clothes. No takers yet on freecycle, I'll give it 24 hours and then give it to the CS. Unless anyone here is in SW Surrey and needs age 3-4 yo girl's clothes?0

Only managed 1kg of "stuff" today, but managed to clear out a load of plastic takeaway cartons which I use for the freezer or lunch.
So not good on the weight, but a result on making space.0 -
I have made no progress today but I have two sacks of clothes off to new homes in the week - they each are the giant zip up bag size.
I found a book today - yes one pitiful book but I've cleaned the kitchen. Back to routine work on Tuesday so life will be complex then.0 -
For those who didn't see my post on one of the previous 2014 threads, here is the website that I am using to help me declutter.

I'm the same, for example I bought 2 Christmas trays years ago (I think DS was only little when I got them, and he'll be 33 this year), I think I used them the first couple of years but not since, and every year when we get the decorations out I think I may as well get rid as I'll probably never use them, but every year they get put back as 'I may use them one year', lol! Well this year they have been put in the shed with the stuff I've got ready to go to the CS, so as long as I don't change my mind before they go, they will be going this year.
Well I've not done much decluttering lately, but I am determined to get back into it, tomorrow is my day off and I'm planning a day of cleaning, tidying and decluttering!Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Guys can I ask, I've tried to sell things on ebay a few times but totally failed. Any tips or any links to tips??
Today I decluttered my bathroom cabinet, so that's about 6 items gone and a few more left out to use up! Then I went back to the kitchen and cleared out of date food again (about 6 items) plus a few glass jars I was saving for god knows what. So that's another dozen items gone, 79/100 for the month.
Also got the christmas tree down and decluttered an old recycling box to use for all the Christmas stuff, plus all cards etc gone!
In terms of big items, I cleared out two handbags today. I think they can go to ebay though, unwanted gifts, thus the ebay question
Many thanks in advance for any advice!0 -
Hi folks,
Hope you don't mind me joining in......
I started this on Thursday. Kitchen is now done -
Why did I have
two chocolate fondues
Five teapots
Aftereight mint holder (no joke)
And other assorted crap.
So made a trip to the charity shop yesterday.
List of what is in the freezer has been attached to freezer as it desperately needs to be defrosted.
All dates checked of everything in the cupboard and the nutmeg with a best before date of 01/07/2003 has now been binned.
The bathroom box under the sink has also been cleared out and lotions and potions that have been there for years have gone.
Toiletries and make up have been cleared out as well as the jewellery. The nasty comedy stuff I had has now gone.
What I'm dreading is the spare room (for that read dumping ground) but won't face it until the rest is done and that needs to be before the end of this year!!
Wish me luck!!Lightbulb :idea::idea: Moment - October 2016
