Had a tidy in the bathroom/en-suite - put 10 toothbrushes which DH had bought (but they were a special offer he told me) which had been sat in my drawer which was already too full into the bathroom cabinet and also got rid of old almost empty shower gel bottle which was taking up a stupid amount of room - I decanted the contents into DH's shower gel holder as he is the one who uses this one.
Also gone through and done my filing and got rid of all old bus timetables/prospectuses etc for when we were looking for secondary schools for DD - now we're sorted that can go. DH also been sorting through some of his stuff *thud* and found lots of cardboard boxes so they'll be collected tomorrow.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Good day today. Working in the living room, tackling old magazines, papers etc. Lots of confidential stuff shredded, a recycling box full of mags filled and a bin bag of random stuff chucked out. I have a shelving unit in my living room. I tend to fill it up, get fed up when nothing fits then empty it, chuck it all out and start over. I really should get more into real time chucking out but I don't. I always think I'll use that two year old Which magazine or the article on bathroom design. I never do.
Also sorted out a big pile of books to go to charity.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Yesterday out
2 DVDs - ebay
85 books - charity shop0 -
Started so well, and then it was my birthday. I got lots of lovely things, and treated myself to even more lovely things with a day of work at York Designer Outlet... (although one bag full of stuff is all presents for Mother's Day, so that's OK
)
But I do now have a sewing machine, so although i've got templates and half finished/half cut out projects all over the living room floor, they will be finished soon, and then that's the fabric stash starting to be decluttered!
Still not actually taken any of my piles/bags of decluttered things to their various new homes, but I've got a bag for the CS, a folder of papercraft stuff for my nans friend who has just taken it up, a carrier bag of clothes for the clothes recycling place, and a bin bag of DVDs to be sold/traded-in/Zapper-ed. And a bag of food for the food bank. I really need another day off just to take all the various bags to their new homes!!
Tonight, I shall attempt to finish the sewing projects I've got on my floor so they aren't cluttering upMake £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Sucess. All my decuttering has spured my mam on she has emplied the GDs toy room. Loads to the CS and dad has another run to do. She was sick of sis and I's kids just tipping all the boxes all over the floor. My oldest D helped her just wish she would help me. Looms are driving me mad all over the floor:beer:Death comes to us all.When he came to Mort, he offered him a job. MORT by Terry Pratchett.0
