Decluttered today - 1 life leaching relationship
Re-cluttered - all the crap from his house.
Current solution - stick it in the loft to deal with later along with all the gifts and phots
I'm feeling awful with mild bursts of guilty relief
Decluttering Queen - Thought about doing a carboot? No fees, no postage, cash in hand? Always my preffered method of declutteringAll that is gold does not glitter

My de-clutter mojo has landed with an earth shattering thud again, so here is the list for the last few days:
- 22 odds and sods of toiletry / makeup binned. I wasn't using them for good reasons and some had decomposed. poured away, recycled or binned.
- a bag of paper recycling from the attic room
- 17 items into the CS bag
- 7 cables, plugs etc into electrical recycling
- 14 items binned
- 42 garments into fabric recycling as I am blitzing the wardrobe
- 2 pairs shoes recycled
- 5 garments donated to Mum
- 9 books donated
Total: 119
I have a lot to list on e-Bay but shall count that as I sell it.
My quiet aim is to clear the attic bedroom of all but the bed and bookcases by the autumnI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

Not nice having to deal with this (I speak from experience!) but in the long run if it wasn't good for you things can only get better from now on.....and you'll only have your stuff to sort through so there's positives in everything
Since my last post our bedroom has stayed exactly the same - no mess, no clutter, nothing on the floor so I'm one happy bunny every morning not having to wake up to mess
Yesterday I did a full on spring clean of the bathroom. It's not massive in there but it took a while as I did every inch of it. Put a sachet of some hair stuff I've never used and never will do into the CS bag; recycled a refillable hand soap pump as no longer use that type and have loads of others I buy from my friend who does Avon. Don't think there was anything else I got rid of but re-homed and put neatly everything that was in there.
Bag of recyclables for junk remodelling and a new pair of too small PE shorts to school yesterday. Bag of 2 x barbies, a One Direction tin and some other bits from DD's to their friend on Monday.
Large pile of Blu-Rays posted out for OH since last Friday. I really need to get my finger out and put pics on the FB selling sites of the few bits I want to sell.Extra savings aim for 2020 £4,000 £0/£4,000

Just taken a big I*ea bag to the CS which contained things like old Maisie Mouse books the kids have grown out of (sob!), outgrown clothes, a Barbie clock, wellies, shoes etc. I've told them there's more to come ..... am thinking I might do a bit more decluttering but this time in the lounge after my cuppa.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Sorted out the cupboard behind the sofa - took all the stuff out, wiped the shelves with a wet cloth. Also did the same with the shelves above the computer and then I went under the desk and dusted down skirting etc. Found some odds and ends I dealt with accordingly (read binned for the most part!), rejigged what went where, moved files to shelves and found a lot more room in the cupboard. DH, bless his cotton socks, keeps all the boxes his iPads, iPhones etc came in so found 6 empty boxes. I'd normally throw them out but he'd have a headfit so will sling them in the loft.
Then whilst making dinner chucked out OOD stuff on kitchen shelves, moved things around and generally tidied up so all looking a lot better in there now.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
i managed some decluttering today in the kitchen…a load of old mags recycled and a plastic jug with a broken lid (kept because it still technically works..but I rarely use it, and it was a 99p shop item so easily replaced.)PAYDBX 2016 #55 100% paid! :j Officially bad debt free...don't count my mortgage.
Now to start saving...it's a whole new world!!0 -
Been back out sorting the yew branches into usable and burnable, also burnt 2 bags of the green stuff that had been drying. The ashes have now been used to start filling up the pot holes in the back lane. Large cardboard box turned into a stencil for teashirt, the rest into recycle bin:beer:It is the job that is never started that takes the longest to finish.
