Another 10 eBay items posted. Sorted through a couple of boxes, listed the good stuff and actually binned some things.
Had a bumper couple of months on eBay, so going to keep listing :TYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Chuffed chuffed busy busy work work bang bang!
Been a busy bee. My sitting room is starting to resemble a sitting room, hubby is a happy chap! Have decluttered a ton of stuff, just odd bits that I hadn't bothered putting away, tidied drawers and things. I cleared two drawers by putting the photo frames into a box in the loft and using the space for stuff that needed to be in the drawers. Have also cleared the shelves in the alcove, cleared a big bay windowsill, managed to get the new cooker into a tidy space with the box of new pans too.
It's a bit difficult as we are collecting lovely things for our forever home which we are hoping to get this year. So we currently have a new washing machine and a new cooker stored in the sitting room.
Did also do two carrier bags of stuff to food bank this morning.
Managed to fill a recycling sack with odd bits of rubbish - I won't list, it would take a week and bore you rigid!
Now have two cardboard boxes FULL of stuff for eBay plus a cat carrier that has never been used, got to sell as I don't think the princess will fit through the door now. She has "blossomed" since coming to live with us!!
Keep it up, we will win our homes back.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Well done everybody :T - loving all the good work that's getting done on here. Hope we're still all remembering that we're not supposed to be replacing whatever we chuck out
. I'm trying my best to find something to THROW OUT whenever I bring something IN.
Went into the Charity Shop where I volunteer yesterday to do some clothes sorting - only to find that our Director had declared that we needed to 'declutter' ................. Now wondering if she's either a poster OR lurker on here. Spent a couple of hours putting out damaged/unsellable books for our 'Jumble Man' who pays us 'recycling money' for them - waste not, want not. We also came across a couple of 'very old books' and need to offer them to a customer 'who knows about book values'. They just might be worth something more than our general price of 50p for paperbacks and £1 for hardbacks.
I managed to take a couple of items with me from home, but nothing major.
Also concentrating on working our way through the contents of our freezer .................. accidentally had to use up a bag of frozen grated cheese and tonight will be using up 2ptns of Oxtail Stew :j. You never know, I might just be able to get that smaller fridge/freezer by this time next year :rotfl:.
Found a set of dining room chair seat pads in the CS yesterday - if they're STILL there today, I'll buy them. We're now down to the last ONE on a chair- so I think a set of four could be justified as the chair seats are unupholstered and a bit bum-numbing, to say the least

Decluttering - January 2024 - 89 physical objects, over 700 emails/digital decluttering 🎊 🏅🏅0 -
We write in tippex on three pin plugs what the cable is for (they all seem to be black plugs). Helpful for who owns which mobile charger.
The loo roll cable storage reminded me that I've rejigged a low, deep pan drawer in the kitchen to become storage for difficult 'stuff'. We get veggies delivered in tough brown paper bags with the veg box. I have used some clean ones with the tops well folded over to make semi-rigid open boxes to fill the drawer and act as dividers. I have teatowels in one; sandwich bags and bin bags stacked on end in another; washed sponge scrubbers (they go through the hot wash with the kitchen cloths), washed j-cloths and e-cloths in other sections etc. It means I can pack everything tightly but can get at all of it without moving anything out the way. It helped me declutter this heap of stuff very easily.

Hi everyone, not been on for a few days. I'd like to say that I've been busy decluttering all this time but I'd be lying!!! However have been gradually sorting and redistributing stuff...
101. T shirt
102-103. 2 candles
104-105. 2 picture frames
106. Christmas decoration kit
107. Half a plastic slinky toy
108. Pack of paper
109. Pair of socks
110. Wooden advent tree (broken stump and drawers missing)
111-112. 2 jigsaws
113. Pair of trousers
114-116. 3 magazines
117. Old Argos catalogue
118-122. 5 magazines
123. Manky dummy
124. All the Christmas cards in recycling
125. Craft bits for nursery
126. Pair of lounger bottoms
I'm not as enthusiastic as I should be as we are trying to strip wallpaper as well..... it's wood chip and is taking forever, plus the bits go everywhere. Once that is finished though I shall resume the big tidy up!!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Well, had a fantastic 4 days away but back into the breech! Three things put on Freecycle and two picked up. Two bags of absolute rubbish from the loft to the tip. Friend coming on Friday to pick up baby toys/equipment no longer needed for my grandchildren! High chair offered to someone else who has just become a granny!
Conundrum. Wedding dress 40+ years old. Married in registry office but I was one of the early ones who broke the mould from a suit. Before the days brides wore traditional dresses for the ceremony. Can still get into it. No-one will ever want to wear it. Do I get rid?0 -
I decluttered another bag of stuff to the charity shop on Monday. I am taking a bag every Monday. I have another 5 parcels to post from eBay sales on Friday yay. Have to see about this Monday as I have broken my toe.
We have another house viewing on Saturday, so hopeful that this will be "the one" for us and I can declutter all my stuff and the house stuff I have bought into it0
