Willowpop - toilet roll tube idea pure genius! I'm not sure I'm brave enough to be able to tackle the bag of wires yet though... lol

I've stalled a little but home to make some headway this afternoon. Have a bag of stuff to drop off at a friends (she's expecting in March and I'm giving her bits and bats as my youngest outgrows them). I'm giving her the Bumbo too as my youngest is my last and is already too big for it (despite being 5m and it's supposed to last until 12m!?) That will create space....they're big and difficult to store! lol
I have the bins to empty and wheelie bins to fill and swap over today. Our bin collections are only just back to normal since Christmas so I'm glad to be able to fill them up and not have rubbish everywhere! :T Kitchen and bathroom are also being tackled today - Once we've been out to the park and to pick eldest up from pre-school.Changing my Family's Future!! - Starting again!!!!

I posted a few times in the 2013 thread but I am still living in a house of clutter. We might be moving house next month, therefore I have decided that I really need to start posting and get things sorted.0

One black bin bang of rubbish from kitchen cupboard. I was being quite ruthless though...
So far 1 black bin bag from tardis, scraps of paper old pens that kind of stuff, again I've been rather ruthless. I'm currently debating on a pot of wax crayons, always come in handy, hard to get hold of (I was searching for some when I was at college me and mum found it near impossible to find any!) but... theres another tub of crayola ones... Do we really need 2 tubs of crayons?
Edit - I decided already!! I googled crayon art... going to try number 5! > http://www.bestkreative.com/create-melted-crayon-art-colorful-examples/!
How pretty!!

Hiya all, we are making headway this week! Rug that was replaced in the living room when i decorated has gone (sold for £10 - quite happy with that, on fb aswell so no fees!). 3 cushions have gone, another £4 made, then freecycled a load of other cushion covers (i used to have a market stall selling them that i can no longer do due to a dodgy hip so ive started thinning the rest down however i can!) Two voiles still in packet never opened have gone! I sorted the DVD stand in the living room as i needed the space for my new blossom tree (the ones that light up) that was kindly bought for me, so rather than just adding it in the room i have got rid of the dvd stand and put all the dvds in the wicker basket that lives behind the sofa (which now doubles up as a stand for the tree!)
Started the airing cupboard at the weekend, i had two very very big boxes in there with everything in which was ideal but when full i couldnt lift them so DH has done me a swap and bought me some new smaller ones so he could have the larger ones in his garage, fair swap although i need one more just for the odds and ends like tie backs etc.
I am loving the new de-cluttered house its looking better already
I will hopefully be sorting some more bits out when i get in from work - hip depending!:TSPC6 #116 £652.75

Good luck with the interview unixgirluk
I had a little rummage in the kitchen cupboards today.
Just a tidying exercise really, but did find a couple bits that'll go on eBay, and a couple of bits to throw out.
I normally go into the garage to get the car out or get things out of the freezer. Today I noticed that the bird table in the garden was empty - Mr GG usually looks after the birds, but as he was at work, I did the necessary. The bird food is in a cupboard in the garage. Whilst looking in the cupboard, I realised that that garage is the last great frontier of clutter. The house is fairly clutter free, the loft is improving, but the garage..... It needs work.
I'll probably wait until I have the loft the way I want it, and I'll need Mr GG's help..... But it's something too look forward to :rotfl:Early retired - 18th December 2014
