Have offloaded a load more clothes, and a supply of Douwe Egbert coffee jars - they are lovely and useful jars, but I can live without - off they go!!!
  • Did I mention that about three quarters of the way through the paperwork my shredder died?

Going to have to buy a new one - like or like swap but a necessary one for us. Bummer.

I agree, it's probably warm enough to but I want to wait until the ground is dry before doing so. When I've cleared some space there will be an opportunity to fill it with mor cr*p.

I got back from work early this afternoon and cleared my back garden of leaves - stacks of them had been helpfully blown into neat piles in 2 of the corners. Does that count as a declutter? The garden certainly looks a lot neater and they won't be mulching over my lawn now :D

No decluttering for me yesterday as it was my day to visit Mum in the care home. However, bought two half price room diffuser thingies to put away for next Christmas:eek: I have a box ready to go up in the loft marked 'Christmas 2014' and I have started a speadsheet showing my 2014 Christmas purchases.

I do ask myself why I bought a bag of 50 daffodil bulbs for £1!!!!!!!!!! :D

Today will be a housework day so I know there will be some decluttering as I go along.

Another day with no housework for me again today - really need to get on with the decluttering.

Doing another extra shift at the Charity Shop - please send me your 'vibes for refusing bargains' so I don't come home with anything else.

Brought home a flipping remote control dragon yesterday :( - for dgs3, of course ;).
  • We (me, DD16 and DS13) have decided that this will be the year we actually do get decluttered rather than just talking about it. Went into my bedroom last night to find a full bin bag on my bed. DD announced it was rubbish from her room. She may be getting the idea but obviously very slowly... :rotfl:

Does anyone else live in a house where nobody ever actually puts rubbish in the outdoor bins?
  • Morning ladies!

Some good vibes coming from this thread lately - we're all getting there slowly!

Only two items for me so far today:

Old diary transferred into new diary - old one binned
2013 calendar found lurking on a wall in spare room - binned

That's 20/100 challenge so far! Need to up my game!!!
2015 - I am determined to lose at least 3 stone in weight and I must pay off at least one of my credit cards...If I keep telling myself, I might start believing it!!! :D

 HAPPY NEW YEAR - HERE'S TO A GREAT 2015 FOR US ALL!
  • A slow week for me due to work but can add

    11. Old scented candles - manky ones binned, useable ones burnt to disguise cooking smells which seem to permeate the flat

Hopefully will make some head way tomorrow
Declutter 100 items in Jan 11/100
