Bought new oven gloves yesterday so old ones with holes now in bin.

Going to sort out and shred the paperwork relating to Mum's affairs and then look at 10 years' worth of old car insurance documents and prune considerably!

DH is going to defrost our main kitchen freezer. Don't think there will be anything to chuck as we are pretty good on food rotation and management.
  • Forgot to add I had decluttered the Xmas cards too! Have decluttered four forms as well - each one the size of Peru.

Really tired today too - roll on the weekend.

Well done every one, you are all a great inspiration x

    5 necklaces- CS
    Last years calender- recycling
    Lots of misc packaging- recycling

    8) a pile of junk and about 4 years worth of dust covering the top of a bookcase. Long story as to why bits of the house have got so bad but this is helping me take that step forward. Thanks everyone :o

    afternoon all
decluttered a 3 foot high stack of magazines for a friend who works in a hairdressers - they arent allowed to get rid of anything at the shop because they get charged business rates for rubbish removal so i made three trips to put them in my recycling, they were only normal mags that had been given her by customers over the years anyway so really they are domestic waste so can be recycled.

finished off a body lotion so the tube went in recycling.

loads of paper and rubbish from the boys rooms went either in the rubbish or the recycling.

decluttered grey roots and split ends while at the hairdressers;)

    Some great decluttering going on.

Things have slowed down considerably here. I have put some books in the car, to donate to the school library tomorrow.

Hoping to declutter DH's wardrobe at the weekend.

    Everybody's doing really well

I've decluttered a huge pile of diy stuff including tools - hundreds of rawlplugs but will count these as one item for my tally! :D - and now have loads of space in my storage room
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

Well a very good day for me at least in getting things sorted, finally cleaned out the hall, bedroom cleaned and ready for fresh sheets tomorrow, bathrooms at least given a lick and a promise as my mum would say :) and kitchen tidied as well. And all my M&S bargains that I don't want from the sales are packed up and ready to go back as well, hoping to do that tomorrow.

In terms of decluttering, I did include a top that I thought I would wear but finally decided I wouldn't. I'm counting it anyway:)

Weekend is the last couple of kitchen cupboards and getting rid of the stuff I've already decluttered! All sitting on top of the washing machine at the minute.
