    One last achievement before Christmas.

OH has finally dropped off 4 boxes full of old magazines at the supermarket's recycling. They have been in our car boot for the last 3 months.

    - I decluttered a bag of rubbish to go to the tip next week.

    - I used up some Christmassy stickers to go on my windows and they will just be binned after Christmas. I've had them ages and never used them and I don't think you could use them twice.

    - An old pressed powder was binned as it was used up.

    - We are having an Indian meal tonight, some bits from the takeaway that I had in the freezer and other bits I made myself. That will be decluttered into my tummy.:D

  • I've had another burst of activity this weekend and have a box of stuff for the charity shop. Also accumulating a box of things for Ebay selling in the new year. I suspect I might need to save them for a few weeks before I list them as people will be well supplied following Christmas.

I also plan to sell a bookcase, console table and half a dozen unnecessary cushions that have sat in the cupboard for far too long.

Merry Christmas folks, hope the festive season doesn't refill your homes too much!

  • 129. remainder of a box of antibiotics I didn't finish (6 months ago:eek:) because they made me sick as a dog - taken to pharmacy. Glad thats done, they've been sitting looking at me everytime I make a cup of tea, cluttering up the work surface :D

    130. 3 bags stuffed with carrier bags, given to the delivery driver for my online food shop for recycling

Going to see my sister at christmas, so its a good opportunity to sort out the outgrown boys clothes to pass on to her

Also, I've had a request for some unused milk storage bottles from another mama on a parenting site, so I'm going to have a hunt in the loft because I'm pretty certain I have loads I can send her.
  • Decluttered a gift bag with the box of biscuits that went to the caretaker and cleaners at our flats. They do a good job of looking after the place so I wanted to say thank you to them.

Also removed a large bag of rubbish that wouldn't fit down the rubbish chute (all non-recyclable). It's bin day today so the skips were out from under the flats and I could just chuck it in.

I need to count the items in the charity shop bag and rag bag tonight so I can add them to my tally.
Added a book to the charity shop box this morning along with some redundant xmas decorations found in the sort out.

I'm not going out this new year's eve and I have booked the 2nd off to make it a 4 day weekend. Making the most of some money saving and getting up early to blitz some decluttering.

    Merry Christmas to you all.

All I've decluttered in the last few days is lots of food and wine. Does that still count???? :rudolf::rudolf::rudolf:

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Today we recycled my husbands old slippers that had lasted 6 years! They were fantastic. Got a new pair for Christmas.
We also put a pair of shoes in the charity bag that is open in the hall & ready to go.
