Wardrobe sorted and big bag of 'to get rid of' stuff filled up. I'm not going to declare it as decluttered though until it actually leaves the house :rotfl: hoping to get it on some selling pages this week plus some for cs, prob for rags.0

Hi all,
I had a fab august, getting 100 things out of the house, and have just got another 100 things out of the house during September. Am so chuffed and, although things are coming in all of the time too, overall it has really made a difference. I'm not sure when I'll stop, but I'm going to try for another 100 in October. Maybe I'll just keep going until there's nothing excess in the house or Christmas. Whichever comes first lol...
Thanks for posting on here everyone. It keeps me motivated when I read about your efforts.
Next year I WILL be able to clean and tidy the house without having to spend hours moving stuff first! :-)Tess x

I'm having a major clear out of ALL of my cupboards, bookshelves, wardrobe and drawers.
So far I've disposed of 3 bin bags to the charity shop and gone from a full under-bed space to 2 small boxes of DVDs and paperwork.
My bedroom has started to smell of mould so I'm trying to do a deep clean and having a clear out as I go, it's surprising how much stuff you collect.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. Yesterday I:
De-moulded the carpet (ish - not sure the smell won't come back!)
Cleared under the bed
Organised my fitted wardrobes
Organised my shoe racks
2 loads of washing dried in the garden
Cleaned the bathroom
Organised my greetings cards stash
De-humidified my bedroom (77% to 50% according to my hygrometer - only took 2 days of leaving my huge window open!!)
Today:
Tidied my desk
Fixed the broken drawer
Organised all of my cupboard/desk drawers
Washing up
Organised all of my odd socks
De-cluttered and cleared out my old towel stash
Tomorrow:
Start on the living room!
Deep clean the kitchen (after having admittedly the tidiest plumber in the world replacing the boiler)
Take all of my charity shop donations to the charity shop (at least 7 shopping bags and a bin bag full)
Friday:
Clear the basement storage area
Mow the [STRIKE]jungle[/STRIKE] lawn“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A.
