I usually pay by debit card over the phone by calling the park itself.

I found a customer services #0844 406 0421 if anyone else needs it :) Didn't really want to call abroad ;) The # is answered as "Sun Holidays" but I think it's Eurocamp/Keycamp.

  • I managed to book Britanny in May and booked the ferry at the same time. Has anyone else received ferry confirmation yet?

That number is Eurocamp. I received an email from saying to contact them as my number I had provided was incorrect (liars). Anyhow I called them, for them to tell me my May holiday I had booked in France, had overbooked and I had to choose another park so they could check their availability! My friend also got this email and was told by the 'Eurocamp' employee - "we have had lots of bookings for this period and we are giving the holidays to people that are paying full costs and not to people trying to get a cheap holiday via the papers!"
I am so annoyed but don't really stand anywhere, apart from holiday less!!:(

I must be too late, cause I can't find any.......
  • The free service charge and entertainment passes are a bit of a con... When booking shows pay only £30 per person. when booking confirmation comes through £28 park supplement. When queried, told only the first 4 days are free the rest need to be paid for, apparently because it's a seven night break I've booked 2 seperate holidays so only get the first one free...? Call to Trading Standards I think.
  • Has anyone who booked an October half term holiday in Europe heard from their park yet?
I looked back and last year I got my paperwork from key camp on February 1st.

    Hello,
I've never booked a Sun holiday before so would like to ask a few questions, not sure if this is the right thread for newbie questions. We are looking to take our 4y old and 9m old somewhere for a weekend with good indoor facilities and activities for kids. I've narrowed it down to a few of the Parkdean parks but they are not very cheap if booked directly. The same parks are listed in the Sun Holidays but I'm a bit uneasy with the unknown factors :) My understanding is that only previous customers, which I'm not, can choose parks/ dates before paying, is that correct?

It looks like I have to be flexible and choose at least 3 dates. I think I've got a choice of 3 parks that look similar. So tell me please are there any risks involved? Is it possible that we may end up with outdated shoddy accommodation? Will it be adequately heated this time of year? I'm not overly keen on staying in a caravan but I guess that even if the park has other accommodation, for the Sun offer it will be a caravan? If so are the caravans of a good standard? I can't see an option to choose the length of the holiday either so it could be 3/4 or 7 days. Is there anything stopping us from leaving earlier if we get a 7 day holiday as in penalties/extra costs? And finally which Parkdean park (without Scotland) do you think is a good choice for this time of year in terms of accommodation and entertainment, things can be quite different in the summer months :) I've not been to any of them and even if I book directly, it would be based only on online reviews. I just don't want to end up paying hundreds of pounds for something that may be available for 50 through the Sun :) Any advice please!

When you put your dates in if you put a Friday as first day it'll be 3 nights, Monday start will be 4.

Accomodation varies-caravans can be chilly as many won't have bedroom heating, you can often upgrade to one with heating but obviously that will cost more.

In terms of standard, they vary, often they allocate the cheapest models, but, if they are quiet they may upgrade you for free.i think this happens less now though I have to say.

They will all be of a reasonable standard-you can read up on tripadvisor, but bear in mind some people expect The Ritz but for the price of a travelodge......
