The are aware of the situation and are waiting for Eurocamp to contact them regarding them cancelling everyone's holidays. I am wondering whether one can help me.. I missed the deadline to book online and was wondering whether they release more dates in a few months time..

Hoping to go away but need to book together with my in laws for the same time..

Has anyone else heard back from the Sun yet? I had a call today and was simply told Eurocamp said no, they wont honour the booking and I can have refund of the seventy odd quid I've paid. That was a waste of time!!! I plan to try to work an alternative out with Eurocamp cos at least they're making an effort to rectify the situation!
This will make me really wary of booking any European holidays through the Sun promotion again!!

I haven't heard anything and to be honest didn't really expect to! From what you say, I am not going to chase as Eurocamp did offer me an alternative so think I will just stick with that rather than a refund. The holiday was what we wanted!!
Agree with you though- I will be v hesitant booking Holland through the Sun again, although it seems just this particular half term that was the problem- having said that I couldn't get any availability for Easter so maybe that wasn't even offered!!

I seem to remember last year someone had their holiday to Dunirell cancelled as well. I'm not sure if it was may half term or not!

I've now moved my holiday from May half term to October half term instead so at least we'll still get to go to Duinrell, it'll just be a bit colder! Eurocamp have also said if I get charged any fee to change my eurotunnel booking they'll pay for that too.
Hope everyone else affected finds an alternative holiday they're happy with x

Glad you sorted something out. We'll be there in October half term as well.
FYI, it was £98 for the , going on Monday coming back Friday. We only paid £8 cash, as covered the £90 with tesco deals.
