    Morning all.

Hev thanks I am feeling much better today, throat only a little sore

Maralum I so love baby expressions

oh I thought it would be study and bathroom today. Still bed and landing is easier so not complaining. Should be doing the garage but OH seems to have forgot so will strip bed, put out wash which has just finished and then pop up to the lottie just for one hour.

    Then:
    Level 1
Vacuum floor in bedroom and on landing

    Check fire alarms are working
    Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
Remove bed linen and wash, replace with fresh
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen
    Level 3
    Clean window & wipe windowsill
    Wipe doors and handles
Extra Mission Tasks - pick any one or more of the following
    • 27 fling boogie time, time for that midweek fling, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter!!! I'll do this in the garage
    • hotspot which was moved to the linen basket to see the table on Monday.

    Morning all

Haven't done bedroom today because I'm expecting a recorded delivery and I don't want to miss the postie because I've got the vacuum going up there.

So, I've done the bathroom and toilet (probably about level 2) and dusted the living room, S&S'd the kitchen and vacuumed through downstairs with the living room window open so if the postie came she would realise I was in and hopefully knock louder :D

However, no post yet. It never comes the same time two days running.

Lil_me - don't forget there's a postal strike on Friday which could mean a backlog, maybe mention this at your meeting in case your assignment turns up late?

Oh, and marulum, that's a lovely baby - and I don't even like babies, I'd much rather have a puppy! (I have got three children :D)

:eek:postal strike, OH NO! I didn't even know there was one, thanks for that Pollybear I had no idea.

I just showed DP the piccys of Freya, his response was 'You're not getting one' :( what a meanie! :rotfl:

Spent the morning trawling for info on sick pay, maternity pay etc for my friend who just lost her Dad as thankfully she's been to the doctors (Ok I did shout at her and tell her to make an appointment) and he's signed her off on the sick until her maternity leave starts, one less person to worry about.

Now Dp is going through something we have bought for a friend off ebay, seems there is parts missing and parts damaged. Grrr! More things to sort out. He's been told this is the last time I buy things for others, the hassle and chasing up getting the money (I paid for it but he's not willing to pay for it until it arrives) Too much agro!

Oh and cancel the nice weather, rained 10 minutes after I put the washing out  back to the house looking like a laundrette.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Hev - i forgot to mention that when my DS1 was recovering from the EColi thing his iron was also very low: we were prescribed folic acid to help the uptake of iron, then he ate lots and lots of spinach (with pesto: yummy yummy) followed by a million satsumas, but also the magic food: bran flakes. They are astonishingly high in iron (different makes have different levels, so check the label) and of course they don't have any nasty side effects. We had them for breakfast, made fruit cake with them and also chocolate branflake crispies - which everyone who has tasted them agrees is an improvement on the cornflake ones....
I'm sure that other people on here will have some more interesting ways of jujjing them up, too.
If memory serves me, I believe dried apricots are pretty good too: I have an obsession with including them in anything I possibly can, and I can only guess that came from the EColi time, too...
    Hope this helps.
    Is it home time yet?

    About the postal strike

Got my special delivery now so I can stop listening for the postie.

Lunch cooked and washed up, just got to put the dishes away in a minute.

Washing dry except for one pair of jeans which are almost there, will check them again soon. All the rest folded and put away. (I still don't iron ;))
  • Hello everyone, hope you don't mind a newbie joining in:rolleyes: I tried flylady before, but I found the emails a bit much - this seems a lot easier to understand!

Today I've vacuumed the bedroom, but I'm too short to reach our fire alarm :D so the hubby-to-be will have to do it later while I have a dust and change the bedlinen
