AAAARRRGGGHHH I have been adopted by a psycho stalker. Why oh why did i show her where i live? She was on my step this morning with her PROBLEMS. Der, I only spoke to her first time yesterday, How can I help? They are WAY beyond my expertise (If I have any:o) Then She's following me home again. So nothing done again this aft. Any ideas how to get rid without being rude (Coz I'm not) and without hurting her feelings? To be honest I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of her, plus its really difficult to get a word in edge ways. my neck feels sore from nodding all afternoon.

    HELP!
You obviously have (like me) one of those faces that says 'please tell me everything about yourself, I want to know all of your problems'.:A

Can you not be completely honest and in your most cheerful and light hearted voice say 'right gotta chuck you out as so much to do before children are home'. Would this not work? I must admit I never invite people back as my mum had a problem with a woman up the street who used to 'pop' round for a cuppa and then not leave for hours, then send the children round later to ask to borrow stuff like glue or a pack of cigarettes!
  • Oh Newmrslockwood - how awful for you! I can't believe that anyone would dump on you like that...
On a lighthearted note you could always tell her you are bipolar: that sorts the wheat from the chaff - you won't see her for dust! I was actually cut this afternoon (isn't cut the most wonderful word; makes me think I'm in a Jane Auste novel!) by someone I thought was a friend (not close, but certainly more than an aquaintance...)
I would go with kdeans suggestion of chucking her out in a light-hearted Doris Day fashion - but please promise you won't offer to go with her anywhere
    Is it home time yet?
  • Thanks for your comments. I told her i had stuff to do this afternoon but she still invited herself in.. I think I will have to be firm but not rude. I did suggest that she ask to see a child psychologist for son (7 year old, climbed out of bedroom window and ran off, her reason for knocking on my door) but she said she didn't want anyone else involved:confused: So why you involving me then?

On a lighter note the sun is now shining :j.
I did get some flying done this morning.:T Just not my bedroom. I did what i thought would be tomorrows list. Bathroom, toilet. Did the top landing and managed to keep kitchen in Monday condition and Room is still lovely.
    Nothing to declare ;)

SolwayKid - thanks for your good wishes. It does feel great to feel debt free though i've not had time to notice the car is sold yet and won't for a few weeks as i'm not allowed to drive for three weeks. It's worth it though.

Newmrslockwood - what a nightmare. I had a similar situation on a course I started last September. She was bipolar and realised she lived near me so asked for lifts to college. Then she started calling round late at night and in the end I had to tell her to stop. Shortly after she dropped out of college so I did feel guilty but there's a limit to what you can do. I'd try subtle / casual like Kdean said. Be truthful and say you have things on. Easier said than done I know.

Pigpen - did you buy the shoes???

Well get real! Zebra print pattened shoes are a necessity not a luxury! So long as you put them away nicely and don't just throw them in your wardrobe what's the problem!
