It simply means when you open IE, does it open to this google search page: https://www.google.co.uk/0

yes it does, takes a bit tho... but when I click on the tiny box that says new tab alongside whatever one I am on, I get a blank page and then :about blank is in the top search box( whereas before, instead of the blank page, all my tabs would be shown there..)0 -
it has the internet explorer logo, then 'about:blank' by the side of it... so I have to type in manually whichever site I want to go on

this one has stopped the about:blank page coming up, and everytime I click for a new tab google comes up.. I just need to figure out the top link so I can save my most used tabs to the google home page0 -

You'd have to revert to "new tab page", reversing what you did when you set a new tab to open as your home page.
