Also look at using a tiny "Start Up" (not Start Up Monitor!) from http://mlin.net/
You can disable Bonjour service, the HTC thing and the Apple software from your system start up as they don't really need to be running.

Also, take a look in your Start > All Programs / Programs > Startup folder - you can probably delete all the shortcuts in there too.

People will say "be careful... blah blah blah" but if you get any errors, just put the shortcuts back one by one until it goes, or re-tick the box in the start up program.

And also be careful what you're posting... now everyone can see you use torrents... for those Linux distros... of course

Looking through your list of programs is rather like browsing your bookcase. In any case i would also unistall Bing bar.


Your have a lot of stuff on your PC - at least 3 peer to peer clients which although not necessarily dangerous may be indicative of someone downloading things they shouldn't be, and your antivirus is weak - the microsoft one and avast are at best "OK".


If you don't want that p2p stuff uninstall tor, vuze, utorrent.

MY SON!!! and all his crud....... he doesn't even live here anymore, but for some reason, whenever he has been on my desktop, I get a problem... maybe I should put a password on my account!
