Nutella, glad you've found another house - hope you can convince your OH! Sorry you've lost so much though, its such an awful system to allow that to happen.

I had some other things to post but I'm watching Gladiator and its totally distracting me! I love it, but I'd forgotten quite how gruesome it is...

Glad you have seen something you like Nutella. We lost a fair bit too when our vendor pulled, even though she came back in a couple of months later we had to repay everything as offers had expired etc...its so annoying and hugely upsetting. Fingers crossed this is the one.

My boy is 2 tomorrow!!! Eee! Big day planned, sea life centre, walk around Brindley Place and then find somewhere nice to eat on the canal. Hope its a nice day weather wise as todays been lovely. Little tea party at my mums in the evening too :)

    Night all x x x

Happy birthday Aiden! :D Hope the weather is well behaved for you.
  • Morning mum's

Hope everyone is surviving! I haven't been on here for a long time, life has been mental recently.

My DD is 7 months old already! I can't believe how the time is flying by. Next thing I know it'll be time to go back to work (June) although am having a few thoughts about whether it is actually worth it financially (and stress-wise!)

Just wondered if anyone who has a baby around the same age is getting decent nights of sleeping and naps during the day? LO is waking so much through the night at the moment, we are struggling. The only 'set' nap she seems to have during the day is after breakfast at 9am, and then that's only about half an hour.

I am weaning her and she is mixed feeding on bottles/breast now.

Any tips?? I've done all this before but can't for the life of me remember when things started to get better! :o

Aw MV Lola is so lovely! Can't help on naps I'm afraid as my LO is two months behind yours so I'm guessing a lot could change, but she is having the same nap at 9, 12-2 in her cot and then a power nap about 4.30.

oh if only I could get 2 hours out of DD after lunch!

Actually if she falls asleep in her carseat she will often sleep for a bit (not ideal though) but put her in her cot, and the most she'll sleep for is about half an hour :(

How is life with you and yours Delain? x

I couldn't agree more - that's also how it is in most of mainland Europe I think. In addition to the hassle we've also lost over £2500 on solicitors and mortgage-related fees :( I went to view a house this evening though and I want it! LO loved it too - she didn't want to leave! Now I just need to convince OH - it's not in his favourite area.... :o

See that's just disgusting. So much money to lose. That would cripple us! ! Shouldn't be allowed!! So glad you've seen a house. Good luck convincing OH!!! Can I just ask following on from veggie thing. Did you ever give your lo follow on milk? I'm reading conflicting things but some sites have suggested it's good for non meat eaters because it's iron rich. Plus let me be honest. .. Id earn advantage card points if I bought that over first milk once he hits 6 months!! mv lola is gorgeous! ! She's changed loads from the last picture I remember seeing. Her hair is a gorgeous colour. Regards naps I'm starting to think it gets better when they don't need them anymore! ! I tend to coax lo into naps by letting him sleep on me.. Or by going out! ! Not the best way (he's 5 months). I'm trying to break this habit by slowly edging him off me and onto sofa with just a finger touching him which works some days!
