Delain your weight loss is amazing, well done! (All that walking round the floods has it's benefits?!?.... are you still water logged?)

I lost the preg weight quickly, then put it on being at home all day and as with the others now T naps in his cot and is nearly weened off bf I can't justify a bar of chocolate a day... trying to rein it in now, finding it a bit of a challenge though.

Off swimming at public pool with T tomorrow, going to take in car seat to help with changing after. Hopefully it'll be a success.

ps Gap socks and Sainsbury's socks stay on better than any others, and daisy roots shoes (TKMaxx normally a good price) keep help to (up until about 4-5 months, then he pulls them off himself :) )

    I second sainsburys socks!

We are not waterlogged so much anymore, not enough to cause problems anymore anyway.

Hope the swimming went well today?

  • On the subject of socks, I saw that Asda now do socks with built in shoes for pre-walkers - such a good idea!

Bangton - I don't really like other people holding Izzie. I tolerate it because it's the done thing to pass her round, but I grab her back the moment I see her becoming unsettled. Both my mother and mil tried to soothe her at different times and I promptly took her back. I've never been good sharing though. I would hate someone to pinch her cheeks though, how horrid.

Izzie wouldn't settle tonight, turns out she wanted to be up in our dark bedroom. She's fine during the day sleeping anywhere but I've started to notice around 9pm she'll be unsettled until we go to bed then she's spark out.

We are still feeding and fussing so a definite growth spurt, just hoping I get some sleep as it has been a very long day. Heading to a breast feeding clinic this week as I am still sore at every feed and could do with that stopping!

We are using asda nappies ATM however we are going to switch to cloth when this pack finishes. I was impressed at the pampers pack we were given especially the mesh bit this keeps poo away from their skin.

  • Delain, what a fab weight loss, you must be so pleased with yourself. I did sw before I fell pg and lost a stone, im now that pre preg weight but def put on some lbs after Christmas, would love another st off.

Tl, we are pamper s fans here, lo wore the newborn 1 to 3 for ages then to active fit, and baby dry, me and dh loved the urine indicator on the newborn ones.

Lo went into his room on sat, first night wasnt great but better last night. We decorated the room In next highbury range, well got stickers and bunting as the room was already a mocha colour and im so pleased with how it turned out. I never bothered to get it finished when pg as I knew he would be in with us for a good while. Will repaint walls when he is ready for big boy bed.

dunmo who mentioned socks, sorry im wick at reading posts quick but sainsburys are great, any tesco ones go out of shape. I love next stuff but smp does not allow for alot of that atm! Night all xx

It's going to be a long long night, Paige has caught her sisters cold and is struggling to feed, she has been awake practically all day, sleeping only when on my chest or in daddy's arms. It's heartbreaking not being able to do anything.

Hope she settled in the end. A suffered with a cold when he was teeny and wouldnt sleep, in the end I settled him a couple of nights in his car seat, it was only for a couple of hours and it meant we both got some sleep. Think it helped as he was propped up.

We use pampers active fit but used baby dry up until he was about 1.

Weight loss, I lost all preg weight and then some after I had him. Probs through not having time to eat! I have put on about just under a stone in the last 7-8months and I hate it. I have been going swimming once a week which I love as I can just zone out but think I really need to step it up. Work clothes are a bit tight!!

    Yay vic thats fab :)

My OH is being an !!!! this morning. We've got the letting agent coming at 10 for an inspection and they know we have a newborn. I've been trying my best to do the house cleaning when lo is sleeping by doing flylady but in the 3 weeks I've only increased up to having the kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom cleaned each week leaving lounge and dining room. He's just had a massive strop and said we're getting a cleaner because he had to hoover and do some tidying up this morning. I really don't want a cleaner as I'll get really stressed trying to make the entire house immaculate for that one day. I honestly think he's forgotten I gave birth 3 weeks ago and thinks I just sit at home doing nothing all day. I've even been trying to get dinner on the table for when he gets in each night. I might go on strike.
