Kerri- I was warned of a 3 week growth spurt by HV which we've had a couple of nights of- feeding every two hours rather than 3-4 and taking the same amount

Rummer - I'm giving myself til the six week check to get used to my new role but then starting slimming world- in my area you can get a referral for 12 weeks free if you're over a certain bmi

Constipation still rules this house :( feel awful when he's struggling cos there's little I can do. Hopefully it's the abidec and he only has to have it for another week. Wees like all the time though, I'm surprised by how much comes out lol

Morning ladies, hope everyone got some sleep? G was up 6 times :(

I use an app called MyFitnessPal to track what I eat and how many calories I have left each day. I'm the same as Nutella and Gilly, lost all the weight in no time after he was born but it soon went back on :( I'm on a mission now though. Hate the wobbly feeling I've got going on at the moment :o

Aww katie that's alot of wakings!! You have my utter sympathy. Lo keeps having bad nights then good then bad!! He's always been refluxy. Thought it had improved at 3 months but it does seem to be problem again. He was up in night hiccuping, coughing, spitting up.. We were having 3am crying fits so 2 nights ago I put gaviscon in night feed and no more meltdowns! But it's no miracle worker. Gahhhhh!

Must be something in the air Katie. Zzzzz. I lost count of wake ups I think :o no idea what it is. I suspect back molar problems or I hope at least :(

I'm lighter than when I found out I was pregnant but my shape is just bizarre!! I'm not very toned so it makes me feel bad but going to stop reaching for the biscuits and get back to slimming world soon; I've been walking more with the pram but the weather is so temperamental at the moment!

I'm off to Cheshire Oaks so no doubt Gap Outlet will be called upon....

Well after the hourly feeds of the weekend we were back to 3:30am, 7am last night. She definitely looks a lot bigger now, I can't believe she's 3 weeks old! I was so exhausted yesterday and OH was picking fights :( he was in "we don't have a baby mode" where he thinks things are just as they used to be. I was trying to get us to do some batch cooking so we have healthy food. End result though we have 10 veggie shepherds pies and 8 cheesy broccoli pasta bakes in the freezer :D I'm going to make a 5 veg lasagne for tea tonight if little miss will sleep this afternoon. We've had a bit of a restless morning, until I remembered that normally means wet nappy...bingo! Starting to get the hang of this now :)

Re: weight-loss...I didn't gain anything other than baby due to the thyroxine I'm taking. I really want to tone up my stomach muscles again but I'm still getting some spotting when I carry Izzie in the sling for too long, so taking it easy and stuffing my face with cake to make up the breastfeeding calories :D

I was rewarded for the lack of sleep at the weekend this morning though. Izzie gave me the biggest smile with completely lit up face. I've not seen her smile other than wind and this has set me up for the day, makes it all worth it :)

Sorry to hear others had bad nights too. G is coughing and sniffing now so looks like he may have caught my cold. Not entirely convinced that was what caused the wake ups though - he seemed quite happy when I went through and laid him down, waving and say bye bye as I left the room :o

He's asleep now so I've had a tidy round and am doing some work (well, kind of ;)).

Kerri you're putting me to shame with your healthy cooking! We're on a mission to empty our freezer ready for moving so I'm doing the minimum amount of cooking at the moment. Loving it :D

Oh and I remember at the 6 week check G and I had, my doc felt my tummy and said the muscles had separated during the pregnancy and birth so to not do sit ups for another month or so to give them chance to heal (it hadn't even crossed my mind. What are sit ups again?!), so take it easy on the toning up just yet just in case :o

I'm struggling to be healthy too... I lost the weight quite fast and was on to evening runs from 8 weeks but I are my way through her last growth spurt so I've put loads on! I second Katie Kerri, I tried some sit ups, ok at first but now I'm getting stomach cramps so I'm definitely going to take it easy for a couple of months, as if I need an excuse!

Hope everyone gets a better night's sleep tonight, yes I'm already fantasising about being in bed! X

Delain your weight loss is amazing, well done! (All that walking round the floods has it's benefits?!?.... are you still water logged?)

I lost the preg weight quickly, then put it on being at home all day and as with the others now T naps in his cot and is nearly weened off bf I can't justify a bar of chocolate a day... trying to rein it in now, finding it a bit of a challenge though.

Off swimming at public pool with T tomorrow, going to take in car seat to help with changing after. Hopefully it'll be a success.

ps Gap socks and Sainsbury's socks stay on better than any others, and daisy roots shoes (TKMaxx normally a good price) keep help to (up until about 4-5 months, then he pulls them off himself :) )

Thank you for the fitness and diet ideas :D I am lucky in that I have lost the baby weight in the last 4 weeks but I have a way to go until I am at a healthy weight :o Hopefully the breast feeding will help!

We had a good night but an unsettled day today. Lo has been feeding or crying on and off today so it has been tiring, mind you better during the day than all night which is his usual choice ;)

Does anyone else find their days vanishing in a haze of cleaning, feeding and cooking? I often wonder where my day has gone.
