Yes Rummer, it's 3:30pm and I've not had my morning shower, I'm still in my PJs and I've only just eaten my breakfast and taken my medicine!!! Where has the day gone?!?! I need to go to the post office and replace the box of French Fancies I've eaten whoops!

  • It's going to be a long long night, Paige has caught her sisters cold and is struggling to feed, she has been awake practically all day, sleeping only when on my chest or in daddy's arms. It's heartbreaking not being able to do anything.

Oh dear nickit, hope she's much better soon. I've heard Vicks on their feet with socks over the top helps.

Slightly odd question I think- does anyone have a recommendation for a very absorbent nappy? Last night he weed so much in between feeds that the nappies were thoroughly soaked and a little leaky, we're using asda little angels atm.
Don't think it's a size issue as the nappy comes up to his chest but is completely full from front to back and during the day I've tried to change him more frequently and when it's less full it doesn't leak but obviously at night I'm sleeping when he's sleeping and it doesn't disturb him, he still only wakes for a bottle but then I have to do a full change which he doesn't appreciate lol x

Does anyone else get fed up/upset with people picking up their los? My mum's old employee picked up j this afternoon and I really didn't like the way she handled him. She was jabbing his chest trying to make him smile and squeezing his cheeks. He was okay with it..Not impressed but not upset but I was. She was too rough for my liking. Why do people think it's ok to pick someone else's child up?! I'm defo an over anxious mum but nonetheless it's annoying!!!

Is he still in newborn nappies? I know some other nappies pampers baby dry for example start from a size 2 and they're definitely more absorbent than newborn ones.

I swear by Asda little angels for A, half the price of pampers and we like them. I found he was starting to leak out of 4's recently so we had to move up a size.

Thanks, I'll pick up a small pack and see if they're any good, T was only 7lbs 1 at last weigh in so they might come up to his armpits! Lol

Bangton I'd be upset with someone poking my baby to perform for them too, especially someone you have such a loose connection with. Maybe next time she visits J has only just gone down for a nap and had a bad night so you'd prefer he wasn't disturbed ;)

Well, last night we had our first five hour stint of sleeping baby, so now tonight we will be nervously waiting to see if it is a fluke!

Team Lowe, For sometime i would change will every feed at night as I find the front of the nappy gets so full with little boys. I would recommend trying Pampers Baby Dry for night time, we've never needed them, but know they're supposed to be good.
