            Hello all,
Hope you are all well, sorry to hear of bad news of your families and any ladies struggling with babies.
Cannot believe my little one is 18 months next month. It's absolutely flown by. We decided to start trying for number two and I'm sooo excited about it.
Started looking for Christmas presents, I think this will be the last Christmas that is easy in terms of him not wanting presents so much.
Can't wait for the holidays to be over so we can get back to signing class and other playgroups.
How are you all? It's very quiet on here nowadays. Any one been on holidays?

            Hello
My little boy is three weeks old today. I haven;t posted in here before but I posted my birth story here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1714725 and was a regular on the TTC and pregnancy threads so some of you might like to read it.

            Evening all

Sunshine, sorry to hear about your grandfather
Hope everyone else is well - LO and I are at my parents for 10 days, which is lovely (and fab that she's finally old enough for her own seat on the plane!), but she's hard work at times. She gets a bit hyper due to all the attention and new things to explore, and then refuses to listen to a word I say. Hope she calms down once the initial novelty wears off
Sainsbury's 25% off clothing is back - ends Monday
I think I'm done with autumn/winter shopping for LO - she doesn't need much at all, as last year's coats still fit fine, and for clothes she mostly wears layers as it's quite hot at the nursery, so she already has lots of cardigans etc. I think we'll just need shoes, boots and a new pair of gloves/mittens. Just need to stay away from the shops, as I know I'll want to buy all sorts of stuff if I see it....
Someone was talking about easy and LO-friendly recipes the other day - we made these for the second time today (using just two squares of finely chopped chocolate), and they're very yummy

My son had his very first go on a swing today, he used to have lots of medical equipment that stopped him but now he just has a tracheotomy. At first his face said I like this dad, but it soon turned to terror! He quite licked the slide, daddy's back didn't like the slide at all.0

I've started making the winter hats I want for the kids this year - doing two owl hats at the moment and then probably something less zany, apart from that - I'm sorted on clothes and even sorted on pre-school uniform for the big one... just need new shoes for the pair of them as they've completely outgrown theirs and I was hanging on desperately waiting for Clarks to get their autumn stock in - but I'm going to have to go shoe shopping as they've definitely outgrown them now. Apart from that - I'm fairly sorted for about the next year and a half in clothes terms - MIL found two designer coats at the tail end of the sale in Debenhams - so one's rocking a John Rocha one and the other Jasper Conran... for about a fiver each! (they're lovely and snuggly warm). May need another pair of wellies depending on how shoe sizes have panned out - I think little sister's overtaken big sister in foot size!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

The one Monday this month that I didn't go to Sainsburys and the sale starts... typical lol! I wanted to get her some summer bits in 2 - 3 for when we go home in Feb. They'd be big then but just right for our summer here.
A is getting some molars and I think her front incisors so we have had two horrendous nights... last night she slept for three hours... which means I slept for three hours, and after only a couple hours the night before today was rough. I am crossing EVERYTHING that we'll have a better night tonight as I don't think I can handle another like the last two, especially as I have been at work yesterday and today.
We're also away from tomorrow night for a long weekend.. hey ho, who needs sleep

Hi ladies, long time no post
Hope everyone is ok, welcome to the new mummies!
I was in Sainsburys over the weekend too, just for some jeans and pants for him - we're on with potty training as of yesterday. Going ok, couple of accidents but I think he's doing ok. Only doing mornings at the moment as he has a nap in the afternoon and has a nappy for that. I'm picking up some waterproof mattress protectors, spare sheets etc tomorrow so will go for naptime with no nappy soon too. Nutella did you recommend a travel potty once?
Not much to report other than that, and I won't go into too much detail on his potty action :rotfl: I've had alot of work recently so not had much time to do anything, let alone get on here to keep in touch.Newborn thread member
