Aw Katiechoc I thought it was sweet and you looked very pretty and slim. I don't think you've anything to be embarrassed about!0

Sparkles my 9 month old is a bit like yours: usually has a nap about 1.5 - 2 hours after waking (she's generally up between 6 - 7am), then another after lunch and occasionally a further short nap around 3.30/4 with bath around 6.30 and bed at 7. The duration of the naps is still a total lottery - can be anywhere between 25 minutes and 2 hours, but most last about 45 mins.
I know it's going to change but am dreading her dropping a nap as I've little enough time to myself as it is!0 -
Katiechoc, I don't think you've anything to be embarrassed about! You looked really lovely, and G is adorable! Did have a little laugh at how your OH went running though0

LO had a better day at the nursery today - in tears when she spotted her old key worker in the garden, but she did stay in her new room all day happily playing with the other children. Still a struggle to get her to settle at bedtime though - I had to sing and cuddle her for nearly half an hour despite her being very tired; she kept repeating the name of her key worker in a sad voice, as if she was trying to ask what had happened to her0

Without the rules that grownups have, often silly ones, LO's don't always understand why things happen as they do.
Glad that LO had a better day today Nutella, and hopefully each day will get a little easier. Quite possibly the night time settling is linked as she's worrying you may go away too?0 -

I think it definitely is - it started at the exact same time as the nursery room change. I think all I can do is give her the cuddles and reassurance she needs, and hope that she'll gradually settle into her new routine. She was so happy and settled at the nursery, so I'm finding it really hard to see her so upset.
Thanks for thinking of us x0 -
Aww Katie little G is sooo sweet! Your OH did make me laugh with his tennis bat
Hope LO is okay Nutella, I dont even know her and your post made me really sad!! They can be so sensitive cant they? A is the same with change, just doesnt like it. I am sure she will adapt, and the nursery will do everything they can to help. Bless her repeating her name though, so cute!!

Thanks ladies
It could have been worse - when they came to film us they were here for HOURS and I felt like such a prat in front of the camera. Saff yes they said it was called DIY Dummies and explained it all, we just thought it'd be funny tbh. Plus they gave us £300! G had such a sad face on in that shot of him - at the time we just thought he was in a strop because of the strangers pointing cameras at him but later that night he came down with a huge temperature and tonsilitis.
Anyway, back to reality. Glad LO had a better day Nutella, hopefully the nights will soon settle too.
How's everyone else doing? Don't think I've spotted CD around for a day or two?Newborn thread member
