I took A to have her feet measured the other day. Didn't buy her another pair of shoes as the pair I bought back home still fit alright. I couldn't believe the price of the littlies shoes though! Yikes!! Also most of the girls shoes were pink
will have to keep a lookout for non pink ones.
My LO has these in navy - she loves them, and so do I
Will need to get her measured soon though, as I think her feet have grown again. These might be her next pair
And these for summer. Right - better stop now! 0 -
Those are all lovely Nutella! And all currently too big for A
think she may be like me small feet and long legs! The girls shoes they had in store were all in shades of pink. 0 -
Lovely shoes Nutella

Saffa. Those red ones come in a 2

http://www.clarks.co.uk/p/20357563
We're in a 6.5 now, so we got 2 pairs yesterday, a pair with planes on the side from clarks and a pair of blue vans from the vans shop and Daddy treated himself to a matching pair
I'm glad I don't have a girl I think I'd be forced into buying millions of shoes
haha The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
I often find with Clarks there's an in-store bias towards pink, so I often get her measured and then ask them to order in a couple of non-pink pairs that I've already found online.0

The clarks stockist in my town (independent store) always has a wide range of purples, blues and bright colours in girls shoes, we're lucky that way
they're very good as well actually, customer service is amazing and they remember all the children (although that might be because my lot are a traumatic experience
:o)
Well, we didn't get the school we wanted for squeak, which has left us in a right pickle
busy days all round, this morning squeak and little miss were helping daddy cook, got some lovely shots to send in to nursery for their books...
plus it looks like the first week back at school is going to be a wet one! Oh well.
my ex mil was the thorn in my side for years, my ex has a really unhealthy reliance on her... she's in her 70's now and ill, but as far as I can tell she's still at his beck and call. But she was really pushy and interfering when my older monsters were babies, I couldn't do anything right and her precious abusive t*sspot of a son could do no wrong!
I'm SO glad I got away from that.
OH's mum is lovely, in fact it's OH she doesn't approve of
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

happy Easter!
LO won't be having chocolate today I think as I wanted him to wait until he was 1 for chocolate and cake but will see how mean I feel...
currently not feeling too good as I am still angry at OH! I went out all day with LO on Friday and said is it ok if you do tea and he said yes. So OH had 8 hours to himself why I looked after our crying baby who wanted to be carried round the farm rather than pushed in the pram - I decided to leave my sling in the car, bad move! I came home after texting to say I'd set off. No tea! OH said he spent lots of time trying to screw the plug sockets in the kitchen after the tilers tiled over them. Surely you would stop at a certain time and get cooking! aaaargh! and there was me struggling through the day and looking forward to tea and thinking OH would enjoy the break! Then OH leaves me to look after LO a further hour then sticks some frozen rubbish in the oven. I went upstairs and left him to look after LO cos I'd had enough. So we are on barely speaking terms and I'm really mad still.
CD you are so tolerant!
Nutella those shoes are gorgeous, glad I'm having a boy so I'm not tempted. We have shoes that were given to us but I can't be bothered to put them on LO. He's not even rolling!
Sorry to hear about the school delain. What happens next? can you appeal?
Sunshine and MrsH I hate it when anyone asks what's wrong with my baby. I usually don't have a clue!
Bangton at the moment playdates tend to time themselves round lunch or tea. If LO can have lunch out say at a playgym I can take food but most of the time I see people after lunch and try and make it back for tea 'cos lunch is so messy and time-consuming. I also feel quite (self?) conscious cos LO is baby led. Although I wouldn't mind people coming and seeing LO eating at home as long as they know the score. So that can be a few hours inbetween. I'm just starting to do playdates now at home even tho house is still a bit messy - it's quite exciting! Good excuse for cake too
Speaking of cake, what is everyone's favourite? Mine is either banana, lemon or victoria sponge?0 -
I love a carrott cake

I would be annoyed with OH too, I remember when A was tiny and at times OH didnt appreciate it when he had a break but used to go on and on if I ever got half an hour to myself...men!
Easter hunt done, just before the rain too!!
Might make a cake actually

I also love carrot cake, but my absolute favourite is this courgette and lemon cake. Sounds a bit weird I know, but it's *amazing*
LO had cake for the first time last week as well as chocolate for the third time in her life so far (she's 2 next month) - my parents think I'm too strict when it comes to sugar, but I really don't think she needs it. Am dreading the day she understands what the ice cream van is all about - it arrives every evening at bedtime!

Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting or red velvet with cream cheese frosting for me
I so want to make one now
I'm not that strict about what my LO eats now, but I was until he was around maybe 18 months. I do monitor amounts though as I don't like him having loads of chocolate. He has however had a few pieces today since it's Easter
