    Hi everyone

Just a quick question for those with toddlers. Are any of you giving little ones vitamins? I have been advised to give Noah some because his diet is kind of rubbish! (Extremely fussy eater!!) and I wondered if any of you had any recommendations? I'm willing to try syrup or soft chewy tablets. Thanks.

Hope everyone is doing well. X

We've been using Wellkid since we started weaning, as we're Vegetarian. LO loves the taste :) It's not the cheapest, but always on 3 for 2 in Boots.

Good to 'see' you - hope you're well and that you're getting the support you need. Duplo is a favourite here too - she loves it :D

Hello to everyone else too :) We're at my parents' for 10 days and LO is loving all the attention. Last ever trip with her having to sit on my lap on the plane! :D

Re. shopping - I bought a load of stuff for her in H&M recently and can confirm that the girls' stuff is fab too :D
  • Re bedtime my LO was 27 weeks yesterday.

Currently she is in bed between 6-7pm but takes awhile to go into a proper sleep. Just 10 mins ago I walked in to turn her mobile off (it plays tunes for 30 mins and then stops but if you leave it 'on' it just drains the batteries) and the noise of pushing the switch over made her move her head from side/side and she opened her eyes a tiny bit.

She roughly wakes at 5am for a bottle but I've always put her back down and then she's usually up properly at 7am. I've had a few times when it's been 8am but that is if she wakes later than 5am for that first bottle.

She's having around 25oz of milk now, down from 30-33oz since introducing lunch and breakfast. At the moment, it's bottle, porridge made up with a small amount of her milk, lunch, bottle about 2:30-3pm and then last bottle about 5.00 -5:30pm.

Re nappies I'm currently trying Aldi but had in the past been using Little angels. I had numerous occasions where they'd leaked and unfortunately it was with poo, again going up the front but since starting weaning obviously poo's are more 'normal' so haven't had that issue for ages now which has been lovely.

My LO goes to bed around 7 and is up around 7.30/8 o clock. When he was younger he would do 7pm-9am easily, and with a nap during the day however now he's older he doesn't need as many hours. He doesn't nap in the day anymore either. Up until 6.5 months though his sleep was more erratic, he went down at 6.30 and still woke in the night x

    Evening all :)

We took a shopping trip to town today, and H&M have some gorgeous girls bits in! Next also does actually.

Time seems to be flying. It is exactly a month today that I am back in work, and honestly I don't want to go. The job I am going back to is not one I would ever have applied for, it is just not an area I have an interest in. Trying not to dwell on this too much though and enjoying my last weeks with LO full time.

Take care ladies, and for those of you feeling low, let OH know that you need a half hour even of "me time".

Oh yes, on bedtime, we're upstairs at 7 and in bed between 7:15 and 8pm. She (on a good night) will then wake anytime between 6 and 8am

Bedtime here depends on his last nap of he wakes from is second nap before 3 I let him take a 3rd cap nap before dinner, it means he gets sometime with DH to play after dinner so Bedtime is 8/8:30. He sleeps till around 11 and then wakes for a feed and into bed with me he then on a good night will sleep to 5 or so nurse then nurse and will sleep to sometime between 6 and 8, this is a light sleep so he is easily woken. He still sometimes takes a feed at 3 or so :)
  • I'm struggling to get LO into cot before 10pm. He has short evening naps before then but won't go to sleep in his cot. He does tend to wake up late - around 9:30 ish with lots of an just waking up in the night. We co-sleep so I can just BF him back to sleep. He's slowly changing tho as today he woke up at 8am.

LO is getting constipated with weaning. I'm going to start giving him water in a cup every meal now. I'm sticking to freshly heated water from a kettle for now and trying a small open cup. Getting ready for lots of spills lol!
  • Evening ladies

Lo is awake for the day around 6:30-7:00, naps about 10:30-12:00, we start bedtime routine about 6:45, bath or hair wash, then bottle and sleep for around 7:30-8:00. Lo ends up sleeping with us every night now, i don't mind, I know he'll want his own bed eventually.

Benice - use pears, prunes, plums, in lo meals, it will help with the constipation. I always make sure we have pear yoghurts in, it helps keep him regular :)

My LO has been fairly consistent for the past year and a bit - we head upstairs for bath and bed by 6.30pm (in the past we also had milk at that time), so she's usually asleep by 7pm. She wakes up between 5 and 6 (touch wood - we seem to finally be past the 4am wake-ups that we've had for the past year :D). On nursery days, we get home at 6pm, so it's just a quick snack and a story and then upstairs for bath and bed, but she's so tired that it'd be mean to try and keep her awake any later :o

does your nursery provide tea nutella? I stupidly haven't asked mine. tbh (first time mum alert!) I didn't know nurseries even did that til a friend mentioned hers does.

Thanks for the replies on bedtime. aside from Nutella we seem to be the earliest risers. lo starts his first nap as many babies are just getting up

I thought as he got older he'd need more sleep at night and less in the day but so far that's not the case. Hey ho tbh when he woke at 7after clocks went forward I felt really behind all day as I was so used to 5! 6am would have me dancing round the room! !
