Really good to hear you had a good day. Sometimes, things like a book club are worth a spend. It sounds like your new work place is much nicer!

It is SO much nicer, still stressful but people are much nicer and more suportive

Proof indeed that exercise is bad for you!

YES. EXACTLY what I said! Ok it was to the dogs and I was sitting on the pavement with ripped tights so neither sane or dignified but still true!

Hope you're not too battered after your tumble Buffy! Apart from that it sounded like you had a nice day for once - trust there to be a fly in the ointment!

It's great isn't it, I went to the supermarket dressed like it once......only the once, bumped into to two ex students and saw maybe 3 guys who were cute, obviously when in full work gear with attractive shoes its all old people and nutters.....

  • Well I have a new car.

Never handed over such much money. Bit scary and unreal!

And now I am SUPER skint. no savings no back up and more debt in the shape of car insurance.

Still felt sort of cleansing - had to shut the ISA that I opened with the bf and I opened it in his home town - CONSTANT reminder gone! and the new car won't be like the old one.

going to have a nap and then I MUST CLEAN the house. My friend is coming over tonight and I need it to be clean.

Catch up later re more money plans.

    Yay to new cars!

As a non driver I just can't get enthused about car buying but we are buying DD1 a car when she goes off to Uni and I'm actually really excited about the prospect of picking one with her (probably because she wants a mini or a beetle in a wacky colour, not a boring...it'll do good MPG car that DH always wants)

    Have a fun evening.
