Is there something else you could stand the cage on? Keep an eye on free cycle for any suitable sized tables etc.

What needs fixing on the fence? I'm sure we can come up with cheap solutions.

Decorating your room can wait until you're temping, you. Might find you have a week or so between jobs sometimes and that's a perfect opportunity to tackle it.

You need to cut yourself some slack, sell anything you can to build your self a buffer for those Months you have unexpected outgoings.

I've been busy selling this month to pay for DD2s New bedroom furniture, I managed to make back all but £20 of it which I'm happy about. It also means my premium bond win can go in the pot for buying DD 1 a car.

    Morning :)

The cage has been on two tables, one long enough but too wide and the other one just wide enough but not long enough. Both drive me nuts. At one point I had one long desk but it was too high(porridge anyone!) to easily clean them out. I have looked and looked and looked as a table would have had more use than just a stand if you see what I mean. The stand costs 35 quid...but I think I might just have to bite the bullet, it is the right height and length and on wheels. I am really sick of the cage being balanced on various bits of furniture. Ironically the one table it does fit on - the coffee table in the front room cost a ridiculous amount when Mum and Dad bought it. Don't think I can use that(or get it upstairs!)

I will have to decorate my room in half term as the stress of doing it when Mum is here will be way too much for her and me. I am only painting it white and am fairly sure I have a big tub in the shed, I did briefly venture there this morning - in dressing gown and slippers and could see something on side so am hopeful.

As far as the fence goes, it doesn't really exist currently! I shall get a quote in half term. My sister offered - well her boy friend offered to pay but I don't like that idea. I don't trust him at all. He is very controlling and I would owe him then, do not want that.

Also whilst in the shed I found a pile of old fish tank bits which I can sell, hilarious me standing at the door poking things with a broom handle in fear of spiders.

I am selling stuff on preloved to make some money(joined the Feb challenge). it was all to go on the car insurance bill but I think priority is making sure my room is liveable in again so that I can work in there and not have to be stressed by the mess. I have planned to really empty out my room a bit each night this week and only put back stuff I really want. The de-cluttering is going well really but am in the bit where everything looks a mess, breaking eggs, making omelettes. That way I can paint it next weekend.

    Today's plan

    1. Breakfast
1a. drive out to get huge bag of sawdust. exciting!
    2. hoover
    3. sort out clothes (today's decluttering)
    4. move piggies downstairs in preparation for next week
    5. ironing/washing
    6. clear dinning table
    7. Marking

    see you all much later!

  • Evening or rather good night :)

    My list

    1a. Breakfast done
    1. drive out to get huge bag of sawdust. exciting! done

    2. hoover done

    3. sort out clothes (today's de-cluttering) not done - hoovered under the sofa and cleaned the kitchen.

    4. move piggies downstairs in preparation for next week
    - did that! Dogs most upset! and confused.

    5. ironing/washing
    not done

    6. clear dinning table
    done been replaced with marking!

    7. Marking

    not done!

basically I also put the hamster in a new cage, which was covered in mould as was the guinea pig cage it took me AGES to clean them before putting the creatures in obviously! Then I remembered I had to take my car over to my mechanic's so that is what happened to my day. haven't made my lunch yet.

well I would say a 50% success for today. do have a happy hamster tho,

  • 50% is better than 25% or even 0% so well done!

I had a low day yesterday. Tick off each day until half term....if I get 50% done each day I will be happy!

Take care and have a good day

  • Thanks Rach XX only four more get ups eh? Am just getting through it with gritted teeth!

Having said that today was good at work! It was a miracle I got in on time - must do better tomorrow re leaving the house.

had a nice morning, lunch was ok - lessons were good, mechanic didn't fix car which means I just had to come home. I returned a handbag :(:( £25 which was meant to go towards the cage stand.... however then I broke my shoe....technically I can still wear them but not comfortably - ie waiting for them to fly off my feet.

Any how I bought new shoes and a cardie I have had my eye for a while - they will come out of my clothes budget (which is sort of not in existence till next month but hey ho!) if I decide to buy the stand. if not then at least I bought something that is useful and needed.

there is a dog asleep on my foot(slowly going dead) and he is snoring. I do love my dogs.

    right I have marking x 3.14 x infinity.

see you in the next life!

Glad you had a good day Buffy. I wish I had a dog - they're lovely and make everything seem ok with the world.

I had horrendous PMT so when my nightmare boss made a completely uncalled-for b1tchy comment I actually 'saw' my fist flying towards her head - that's never happened before... Now trying not to let the old bat bother me.

Urg - Could I pm you about the master calendar please?

  • HI - hope you dont mind another subscriber, :) enjoy the new shoes and cardie. It winter after all :)
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Evening diary readers,

Well.........................the week has certainly got a LOT worse. work and a lack of sleep do not mix at all.

    it's all been a bit !!!! really.

Anyhow as I left work tonight I promised in a Scarlet O'Hara style moment that as God is my Witness I will not have another week like this!!

So I am going to struggle through tomorrow and tomorrow night here is my single girl's what to do on Valentines Night ;)

    1. supermarket shop so don't have to go on Saturday.
    2. buy French stick and Brie (amongst other things)
    3. come home walk dogs,
    4. put washing on
    5. have a tidy up
    6. maybe clean out the fish?
    7. have a bath :)
    8. bake the brie
    9. Open wine
    10. Eat and drink. :)

Regarding boyfriends, I don't need a man, I can figure out most things! and have been single for most of my life. However I have come to the conclusion that previous bfs didn't bring me much happiness, I do have a talent for picking total morons but the last guy, well I think for perhaps the first time I felt loved? wanted? and like I had a person who was there for me. I do really want that. I can't help but think it is a better way to be?

SO am giving myself a deadline of April to be "bf" ready ;) and go back on the dating websites! in time for the summer....

I had more to write but so sleepy!

    CANNOT WAIT FOR TOMORROW NIGHT!
