also must not use the CCs this month. really do only have work till July and need to sort out 1. my buffer and 2 pay off the sodding BIg credit card...........

ah delicious freedom
what a !!!!!! week! my lessons sucked, I was shattered and did no marking to speak of.
I could really be bollocking this job up.
Tonight I am off out to the pub and tomorrow I have a facial - life outside of work is so much better than life inside.
I suppose that is as it should be. Facial is at 11 so I am planning a lovely evening and then a not rushed morning.
And then I need to go to Sainsbugs. possibly in the evening given crazy Saturdayness.
which is a pain as I bet I nap all afternoon!
Oh well we shall see. bit sleepy.
Two things I have decided, much like Emzilla I have to make a plan and execute the plan.
i.e Buy a house.
Plus I really want a boyfriend. so there.

Really must.
now.
well once I make a list.

It took me a hour to write the list..
I spent 56.36.
Its been a weird weekend so far. Today went as I thought but I can't believe it took so long to go to the supermarket! It's like being a time warp!
and I had dinner.
OH dinner. It was a sort of steak that I grilled with a jacket potato natural yoghurt, steamed spinach and ok some butter!!
LOVELY.
I have 250 left of my wages. which is scary. Am kinda at the point of wishing that I didn't have this debt. Life would be a lot less frightening at the moment. I have 5 months left at work. I need to have money for August (!) and pay off my debt before October.
I have options.
A) scrimp and save and sell.
This would hopefully mean me paying off the debt and having at least 1000 for August. playing a 1000 pound off each month. attempting to save 200 for August.Transfer all debt to a new card at 0%
so transfer the 4400 and the 650 (car insurance) to a new card and focus on saving for the August issue.
The reality is the car plus my old debt = about 5000. plus I need a 1000 at least for August.
And then a job!!
it's 6000...............ugh.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Just popping in to say hello! If you have had enough of teaching is there something else you could do? What would you like to do ideally? When I was at school all I wanted to do was be an English teacher. Circumstances dictated that I couldn't carry on studying. After reading your diary I'm kind of glad I didn't do it now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Right.
I want a massive amount of Chocolate.
have been doing my sums and decided to go for Option A
Am saving/paying for
Rent
MOT (Aug)
Car tax (Jan)
Puppies/pets
August generally
365 days and 52 week challenge
Virtual Sealed pot
The CC
Now the plan
Pay 200 for the August account
Pay 800 for CC
I must not touch the August money - this might have to last me a while.
the 800 is more flexible and can be used to save or buy things I need......
I am also going to try and have 500 pounds emergency fund. I have 185 left in my Nationwide account so will add to that.
I still haven't paid in my sealed pot in from last year. that is about 90 quid I think. I also have money left in a savings account I could take out. However that may have to go on the Car insurance bill which is currently 650.
I hate maths. Especially since I wanted to redecorate my room, fix the fence and buy a stand for my guinea pig cage.
hmmmmm.

Ooh I didn't see this before!
well, once I finish here I am going to try and find some office temping - no really idea, just temp work to keep me ticking over, see what working is like in the *real* world. The only other thing I have ever wanted to be is a lawyer.........don't want to do that now
and then I think I will look into more specialised teaching with SEN kids. or if the temping works out, carry that on.

Is there something else you could stand the cage on? Keep an eye on free cycle for any suitable sized tables etc.
What needs fixing on the fence? I'm sure we can come up with cheap solutions.
Decorating your room can wait until you're temping, you. Might find you have a week or so between jobs sometimes and that's a perfect opportunity to tackle it.
You need to cut yourself some slack, sell anything you can to build your self a buffer for those Months you have unexpected outgoings.
I've been busy selling this month to pay for DD2s New bedroom furniture, I managed to make back all but £20 of it which I'm happy about. It also means my premium bond win can go in the pot for buying DD 1 a car."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
