Lots of pain today, and horrible backache!

BUT day went ok considering I felt so rotten.

    spends £10.29 on petrol

    £17.34 in Sainsbugs.

I spent so little on Petrol because I am experimenting! What I normally do is spend about 35 quid, run on it down to fumes and then buy another 35 quids worth. Not that that is exactly a problem but it does mean 70 every second month, this should balance it to 40 quid or less each month - and on holidays when I barely use the car I won't have invested possible travel in petrol already.

the general idea was to stop running it down to fumes but it seems if I can't make it part of a weekly routine I forget so often. I am not sure it will be economical or thing, more about not running out and not putting money in the tank when I don't need to.

eaten dinner and got a headache. annoying. Need to let the rabbits out and plans LOADS. :) I like planning tho so hopefully the headache will go and I can get stuff done!

  • massively inappropriate crush developing to ridiculous proportions :)

but it is a bit of fun. harmless I think. tho a couple of things said by other people have worried me. As in the comments discussed must have come from him........but oh well. busy days and I think I have done everything I am supposed to do.

Money wise it is TIGHT. wages go in on Friday tho but I can't spend any till the first.......and I am debating.......the CC is now at 515 -went to Cambridge at the weekend - with a fellow MSEr ;) so had a lovely time shopping etc.

I MUST return some clothes - 50 quid, so that would make it 475.......which in theory I will be able to pay on pay day.

    too tired now. XX

  • Aaah Buffy you do make me laugh, I love your post about banning yourself from Amazon. I am exactly the same :rotfl:.

On the subject of hay for the bunnies. Do you have room in your garage for a small bale of hay? although I guess if you live in a city centre that might be tricky to find one. Being a country girl I see small bales of hay for sale for about £4.50 and that would probably last you a year :). Need to have somewhere to store it though which might be tricky.

Ooooh who is the crush on? Is it that guy you mentioned a while ago at work?. Don't quite understand what you meant about comments some people had made which must have come from him?

Whats your plan on the fuel?. I put £30 per week in my car and I am always running it on fumes, hoping it will last till Friday. I long for the time where I am rich enough to do a once a month fill up so I don't feel like I spend my life topping up in fuel stations.

Sounds like you have had a lovely update on clothes and makeup. I sooo desperately need to do that too. My make-up is down to a bit of blush, eyeliner and mascara and all is looking abit empty and worn out. Don't even get me started on my clothes .

Next year I will try to get my savings pots going again so we can have some new clothes.

Hope your day goes well. xx
  • Had some terrible news today. My dearest and best friend called me to tell me the devastating news that her sister had died.

    Devastating. that doesn't cover it.

She wasn't old. My best friend means the world to me. I cannot bear to think of her in pain. Nor her mother.

    too young, too soon.

We have visited this country before. So like home but oh so different.

    Hello Buffy
It's been a very long time since i have been on here. Will catch up properly soon but just wanted to send you hugs. Such sad news like that is so unsettling.

  • The shock hasn't really subsided to be honest. Her brother put up a picture of her today, to see her so clearly - it is a really good picture and to think she isn't here and that is all that her poor son has to look at. I don't know what words to write or say. Grief, the horror, the chasm of feelings you don't want to feel and you know they are there lurking waiting to catch you out. Heavy and lost.

So many clich!s at this point aren't there? Life is short. You think you have time. Seize the day.

All I can think tonight is I am tired. I do not want my darling friend who is lovely to all and not anywhere near as judgemental as I am to be in pain. I want her to see her sister again and have one of her fab family parties.

not that I want others to be in pain either but this riling against the random unfairness of it all is the best I can manage.

Sorry this is so depressing XXX

In other news am going to just pay off the CC debt with my emergency savings.

    xx
