  • More progress on the shed front.

I am ridiculously happy about that, have found a few things I should be able to sell and have virtually NO crap left.

I need to sort through approximately 4 boxes which will be for the paper recycling/shredding.

got rid of so much. 5 carloads to tip, about 12 bags to charity. plus 3 more tomorrow.

I feel good about it. I must say I didn't at first but I am really getting the hang of it.

    :)

    You're doing very well!!!

I'm still getting rid of stuff - another 2 black sacks for the CS just from the living room alone!

I'm up to round 3 in most rooms now - just the kitchen to go and that will be done next week as i need to strip it out to redo the ceiling following a leak. I'm sorting and chucking with packing in mind as we'll be putting the house on the market either before Christmas or in the spring (not public knowledge yet as some family members will get funny about it) but we're in a position to be able to downsize, move area and be mortgage free - something we never thought possible. It's spurring me on!

We had a chance to buy this house 4 years ago in one of those "if we don't do it now, we'll never have the chance again" I'm glad we took that terrifying leap as it's worked out for us (with a lot of frantic paddling under the surface to OP the mortgage each month to get is in the position we're in now)

Sometimes you just need that blind faith that it will all work out.

  • shed progress continues. I am so tired..........I kicked myself in the ankle twice today!!

    Ta das -

    3 bags to charity
    Tools organised
    under the stairs cupboard organised
    Mum's shed 90% done
    my shed 70% done
    Another pile for the tip.

    To dos

Need to move one small set of drawers to the shed
Empty the four boxes. debating about that really - might leave it as a job to do as it is fairly straight forward and I have room to do it directly in the shed.
sort out what has to go into the shed from my room. perhaps some pet related items......
put tools and useful items under the sideboard.
finish Mum's shed and mine (does sound mental having a shed each!)
    Clean the conservatory

Leaves only Monday for my room :( but there is hope. If I an get it all straight by then it would be AMAZING.

(Credit card bill is already at 66 pounds..........)
